Hum, i will not consider in my top three the ones with less than 3 seasons as a tv show must be assessed over time. But I would advice The Wire, Game of Thrones and Breaking Bads. Now I binged watched True Detective and Westworld. I am looking forward to see what’s coming out in the next season. The first one can definitely integrate the top 3 if season 3 is as good as the 2 firsts. About football I enjoyed Friday Nigth Ligths ans The League (first seasons, the last 2 were mediocre). Just to relax and laugth, i really like The Big Bang theory, the Good Place, Blackish, New Girl and Modern Family. |

Just finished the Umbrella Academy. I was not sure after 1st episode and then ended up finishing the season in 2 days.
The last episode would have deserved to last at least twice longer to develop a bit more the events. Yet still a recommandation. Also discovered Stranger Things recently which was absolutely great. Once again, it took me a bit more than 1 week to watch both seasons... Also started Sherlock last month and really liked it. |

For me it shifts quite often, but I did likely spend most time watching Star Trek series and even not all were great, most I did at least like because of some characters and story development.
Right now I'm re-watching Next Gen and Voyager. But one I like to mention I did discover last year and now having the complete DVD set is "Agatha Christie's Poirot", a BBBC series which started late 80s and went until a few years ago with same actor as Hercules Poirot in 70 episodes. Really great adaptions. |

Sherlock is outstanding. If you have CBS All Access, Star Trek: Discovery is fantastic as well.

Season 3 of Stranger things was lame. Loved the Steve story line but that was it. I can’t stand anymore Mike or El... And just finished watching Hunters. It is quite walking on eggshells to talk about a show that rewrites parts of what happened to Jewish people during WWII but the plot was just great. Some of Al Pacino’s scenes were just perfect. I recommend it strongly if you can accept the history tweaks. If you were shocked by movies like Inglorious Basterds, you may want to stay away. |

I just watched first 2 seasons of the series Fargo, which is more or less a spin-off / same universe as the film Fargo of the Coen brothers.
Great, quite cynical, storytelling about some crimes which are solved/investigated by some stubborn police people in Minnesota (and surounding states) mostly in winter. |

So I just started to watch Patriots on prime. Quite funny I like the show considering I hate the NFL team.
Anyway, this is both a very dark and funny spy show. Some of the characters are really endearing despite their troubles. The artistic direction is quite special which reinforce this feeling, but will maybe annoy some. Hopefully the end of the season will not disappoint. Until then, give it a try. |
