thanks for the heads up guys. My experience in games like this is via Hattrick (soccer game) and clearly the relaxed game and bot situation there is very different. Been hit by my morale being down to 81%.
I had a lot of ex academy and inexperienced players today which was a factor, plus a running back had the speciality "Teflon Fingers". Pffft! On the plus side we showed in Q4 that we can make stands where we need to do. Plus we should be fighting fit following the u p d a t e tomorrow. ;o) I'd definitely put us down for the underdogs in the playoffs, though. Good luck everyone. I'm sure there will be plenty of twists and turns in the games. |

Both have not fared well against the best Thunder has to offer, and both have a head-scratching loss or two. But both are scary and would cause trouble for anyone they face. The Mantis has been here plenty of times, and because of that, I agree they will win against playoff first-comer Wolverines 37- 26. |

We were tied at 20 with just 5 and a half minutes left when I thought you were going in for the kill. My team forced a timely turnover, and we were able to capitalize. If not for that play, the results would be reversed. |

Dumplings playoff review
Eskimos @ Juggernaut - With a fantastic win over the Wolflings in the wild card round the Eskimos should be full of confidence as they get to play a Juggernauts team who will be well rested following their elimination from the Supercup. Although Juggernaut have won this fixture 4 times in the last 2 seasons the last game was a narrow 2 pt win (33-31). I foresee another close game but the Juggernauts should have enough to scrape home. Wild Thangs @ Basterds - This game has got Overtime written all over it and should be a doozy - The teams are equal in so many departments but I do like the Wild Thangs running game and perhaps in the final seconds of overtime they can drag their offence down the field one last time for a chip shot FG to win. Attack Dogs @ Whitings - It took two 4th Qtr interceptions for the Attack Dogs to see off the Patriots in the last round and they will have to play better than that if they intend to beat the Whitings. I think this game comes down to big plays made by the Secondary - Attack dogs pass defence rating for the season was #15 and the Whitings #19. I think ultimately home field advantage may be the deciding factor in this game. Mantis @ Dumplings - I won't comment on my own fixture so please let me know your thoughts and if you agree or disagree with the other fixtures. |

The Wolverines are building one heck of a Defense. Sure, the Mantis won that game 25-3, but the Wolverines offense struggled. Their defense did not. Watch out for that defense in the future, and once their young offense gets a bit more experience, they will be a force to recon with.

I will comment on our matchup Dumplings......it will be a blowout, and Dumplings beat Mantis 42-14. After seeing what your team has done to opponents this season, my team does not stand a chance. (might even be over at halftime!)

I can only hope that is the case but remember that I always drop an egg somewhere - remember the conference game against the Pinoys last season - maybe it will be against Mantis this year  |
