I agree with PJRAVENS. There are veterans on the market I wouldn't bid $1 because I don't want the 600,000 weekly salary hit. So I don't think lowering the initial bid will make over trained players anymore attractive.
I think it is hard to sell veterans on the market because a) we have fewer teams, b) it is easy to train players in house, and c) too many players are being over trained because of (b) and too many managers aren't planning player wages appropriately |

Well, the goal here is to lower the bid for affordable players. The higher wage guys will still be hard to sell. |
