First apologies for lack of write ups, I had planned to do this each week, but work has got in the way.
Game 3 : Group 1 is looking interesting as we enter the last group games. the Letaidans have 2 wins and will top the group if they beat the Leopards. A loss will come down to PD as the Leopards will also have 2 wins. The Hornets are also on 1 win and will need to beat the Bulls and hope the Leopards lose to progress. The Bulls are out and will have an eye on the League Bowl game later in the week. Group 2 is in a similar situation as the Oilers need to beat the Hawks and finish 1st in the group. The Hummingbirds and Space Kraken have 1 win each and so winner will get to the cup playoffs. The Hawks are 2 losses and out. The Oilers will progress to the playoffs, but who will join them ? |

Playoff Games
Space Kraken now called Astroturf or something like that were humbled by the Swiss Toblerone Letaidans 13- 34. A 2nd quarter diaster for Astroteuthis as the Letaidans scored 20 points and put the game out of reach for the Astrozenicas. The Oilers were mauled by the Leopards 14 - 27 in a close game up until the 4th quarter when Jack6 tighten the screw and stooped the Oilers from scoring. This was a blow for the Oilers as they looked to become the first team to win back to back friendly cup competitions. Final Leopards vs Letaidans This could go either way as the Leopards are always a tough prospect for any team and when they can claw and scratch their way to a trophy, they will give no quarter. The Swiss powerhouse lost to the Bulls in the league bowl final and will want to win this for the fans. |

Turnovers, 50 percent completion, and 30 missed tackles won't let you win many games. |
