My question is: a play can start inside the endzone? Is it legal to make the snap inside it? If this is possible than I agree with the TD result. But if it is not possible than this is not an automatic TD because the "receiving team" never had the possession.

Right now I believe it would be signaled a foul against the kicking team and the ball should be placed on the 1-yd line for the receiving team. But I can not find any rule supporting this outcome so it is just an (alternative) opinion on it.

No, a snap inside the endzone is not legal.

And I can't see a reason for a foul, since all was OK, snap outside the endzone, place holding inside endzone, kick was incomplete and untouched / out of bounds.

By the way, if I read the scoring a TD rule of the NFL it never has any dead ball rule, except the referee awards a TD. The rest is always like 'a player ....'

The line of scrimmage is not inside the endzone only the kick.
For example if LoS at 1 yds the kick spot is 6 yds inside the redzone.
If the fg is missed the receiving team take the ball at the spot of the kick not at LoS.

Edit: sorry Jack I was typing when you posted.

Okay, I know that this play started outside the endzone. What I meant is the next play of the receiving team. It can not start inside the endzone (imo). So it could not be a TD as the "receiving team" never had the possession inside the kicking team' endzone.

I came with the foul idea because the whole situation is not covered by any rule... so throw the yellow flag! It is kind of an act of despair.

My guess is that if a team really wanted to try kicking a FG from there own 6 yard line, the holder would line up outside of the endzone. There is no rule that states a holder must be seven yards behind the line of scrimmage. Otherwise, I tend to agree it would be ruled a safety
