Hi Pete, I've just sent my old Kicker to the Hall of Fame, then I tried to send my old Punter too, clicking on the "make him a hall of famer by paying 5 credits" button. However, there is a message afterwards saying "This failed, the player is not eligible!".... He was part of my team for 15 years, he is in this list to choose from, so I don't understand why he wouldn't be eligible?? (I have enough credits too...lol)

Did he play any matches for your team and had at least one occurance on field?
Your team was his last team, he retired with being part of your team? |

Had him from Youth Acedemy to retirement. He played punter and took all snaps for that position for many years....
I'm baffed by this. I hope you can help resolve this |

It was just a bug. I forgot to reset a certain condition in my source code. It does not happen very often to access this part of the code, especially only if players do not have O or D plays in their book, AND if they are paid to become hall of famers.
I guess, it happens not that often that a manager tries to promote a special team player for money. |

yeah, I'm an idiot but he did a better job than the previous one so it was worth it lol
I thought there might be a limit of how many players you could have in the HOF for a while.....  |
