If you have a YA player with great traits, but then the stats cap earlier than you would like, how much are you willing to settle for?

I don't sacrifice my minimal requirements over trait.

I tend to agree with everything stated above, but I do make some exceptions. I'm not as strict with physicals for safeties, so if someone as a sure tackler trait, decent intelligence and TW, I'll accept less than ideal physicals.
I have a TE who I'm trying out despite his low physicals (42.7 strength, 45 speed) because he had good intelligence and TW (both 41ish) and two traits: sticky fingers and long carry. And I have a DL in my YA who is a little smallish (46.5 strength) but is fast (48.2 speed), experienced (4* at age 20 and will be very close to 4.5 by end of the season), is "highly agile" and has fearsome trait. Some might move him to LB, but I don't like anything less than 50 speed LBs. |
