That, and Valkyries' surprising win against my team in the week before. It's tough going 13-3 and missing the playoffs, but it was going to happen to one of the teams due to the severe imbalance between the two conferences (the top 8 AC teams went 29-3 against the NC). ulero may have very well won the NC Conference Championship. Congratulations to all of the playoff teams!
Some interesting wild card matches. I feel pretty strongly that both the Ducks and Tigers win their games. Lions and Cougars is interesting...I'll take the Cougars. And so is Valkyries and Warriors. Recency bias has me picking the Valkyries, but really could see that one going either way. |

Looking at the schedule, my only "guaranteed" path in was through the Prairie Dogs. So I circled that match in my schedule and made sure my guys were focused in on it. I'm hopeful we can get through the WC round, but any given Sunday, especially with how interception prone my current QB is. Which is not-coincidentally the only major long-term piece still missing from my team. Was hoping to develop my own, but so far in almost four seasons, zero QB prospects have emerged in my YA.

3-1 in the wild card round wasn't too bad, though I was pretty far off on that one I got wrong. Can the Cats pull off a second upset? Doubtful. I look at Corsairs and Vikings as easy picks to advance to the conference championships. The other two games? In the Just Here In Case Bowl, the Ducks and Runners have split regular season games with the home team winning each time, so I'll go that route and take the Runners. And finally, the Valkyries got the better of my Prairie Dogs a couple of games ago, and even without the MOTY, he likely still wins that game. But I can't pick against my team yet, so I'm sticking with my preseason Vikings-Prairie Dogs conference championship game

I see my game with Cougars as a very even game. Maybe field advantage will mean something. But anyone can win... But, when I read your first message were you gave me as contender I thought "if I qualify for playoffs I'll lose in the wildcard round"... and I was wrong, and didn't even play wildcard round amazingly.

Closer than I would have thought, but it still counts toward a correct prediction to get me to 3-1 again. Now for the tough calls. Really, no idea what will happen tomorrow. I'm going to go out on a limb and say both away teams win (can't bring myself to pick against myself). But these are not very confident predictions.

well, I was consistent in getting one pick wrong at each level....speaking of pick, it is impossible to beat a team as good as the Vikings when your QB throws 8 in one game!
