Its been a while but as this years Sea Devil Season builds it seems we have a close run Region, at least in terms of the Wildcard Playoff Places go anyway.

So who will make it to the Final 6 in the AC Conference

Lets have a look :

1. Stone Mountain Hawks (9-0)

The recently Elite Hawks have quite the run in, facing 4 of The Sea Devils top, top sides. Undefeated so far they maybe but thats a run to make even the Stoniest of Mountains shake.

The Big one v Dark Matter will decide who remains unbeaten in the AC Conference. This will be the first ever meeting of these two Juggernauts - i suspect they may meet again in the Playoffs.

If they negotiate that hurdle The Mavericks are next. Fun fact, in their two meetings The Mavericks have yet to score 1 single point against The Hawks, losing 41-0 both times.

AC North rivals Aratana come next as Damion bids to dislodge The Hawks at the top of the division. A 48-14 defeat earlier in the season suggests bellj will be confident of securing Northern bragging rights for the Hawks.

Despite the run in come Week 15 and The arrival to town of The Weasels, Bellj's Hawks will almost certainly have booked their place in the playoffs.

2. Dark Matter (9-0)

Dark Matter will face 5 human opponents on their way to an almost certain AC West title. The main threats come from The Hawks, Sailors and Wednesday, whilst they will also face the Gobblers and High Towers.

Whilst The Hawks will almost certainly be too strong maybe we will see a Game of The Year used, just to chuck a spanner in the works. The Sailors could throw in a surprise as they are alwasys capable of doing.

The road to the Playoffs looks relatively simple for Dark Matter.

3. Constanta Sailors (7-2)

The Sailors currently lead the AC East after a HUGE win against Devons Warriors in Week 9. A defeat would have left a lot of work to do for the Perrenial Playoff contenders. There is still some way to go to confirm thier place.

St Pauli Packers at 6-3 may see this as a must win game to keep their own playoff hopes alive in Week 11 in what could be a tight affair. Sailors hold a 4-1 lead in the head to head and will be banking on another win. Dark Matter who are flying will be a stern test before they end their season with a huge double header. The visit of Hamburg Baltic Dogs could have huge ramifications for both thier playoff hopes whilst Week 16 could be massive. A trip to Divisional Rivals Devons Warriors.

4. Mavericks (7-2)

The Mavericks should walk the AC South with just 1 more defeat this season (To the Hawks in Week 11). Will it be enough to steal the 2nd seed from Dark Matter. I don't think it will.

5. Aratana Hajimari (8-1)

Week 14 - @ Devons Warriors (7-2)

The next 4 weeks will shape Damions season as he bids for Elite Stardom. The Hajimari Wall of fans will be in full voice in weeks 11, 12 and 13 as they try to drive The Hajimari towards the AC North title. Its a tough start in week 11 with the visit of The Traders. The 8-1 outfit will be looking to strengthen their bid for an immediate return to The Elite Division and a defeat to Aratana could leave the door slightly ajar for the Corsairs in The NC West.

The 6-3 Corsairs follow, with The Hajimari holding a 5-1 Head to Head lead they will be confident in front of their own fans. The BIG ONE then follows, a huge game in terms of the AC North against the Undefeated Stone Hawks. Shockingly Hajimari actually lead the Head2 Head in this one 2-1, however Stone Hawks 1 win came this season and was a 48-14 rout. Damion will need ever one of the Hajimari fans to be right behind them in this.

Should they pull off the unthinkable with victory against The Hawks, it could all come undone again in Week 14 with a tricky trip to Devons Warriors. There is a storied rivalry here with 10 previous meetings between the two sides, Hajimari leading the series 7-3.

6. Devons Warriors (7-2)

Week 14 - v Aratana Hajimari (8-1)
Week 16 - v Constanta Sailors (7-2)

Devons Warriors play just 2 notable opponents - which should lead them to being AC EAST winners. Hajimari should just have enough for them to see them finish 13-3 with a final day victory over Constanta Sailors

7. Sheffield Wednesday (6-3)

Wednesday always seem to sneak into the playoffs courtesy of the 6th place position. That looks unlikely this time without some BIG DEFEATS for Devon, Aratana or Sailors. None of which look to dropping as low as 12-4/11-5. The former Svalbard Saints have never beaten Wednesday but will fancy their chances this season, with, on paper at least, a stronger team. Dark Matter absolutely hammered Wednesday in their first meeting this season and i dont suspect it will be any different in the return. At best Wednesday will finish 12-4, which could sneak them in over The Sailors.

Prediction : JUST MISS OUT (11-5)

8. Roxbury Rascals (6-3)

The Rascals have looked a useful outfit since rocking up in The Sea Devils and hopefully they will stick around and become a force moving forward. There's a chance they could sneak past The MadDogs who are having a very tough season, but Glasgow Tigers and Mavericks will be a very different proposition. They'll likely just miss out, but are maybe just 1 shock win away from a playoff berth. That would certainly ruffle some feathers...

Asturian Dolphins - The Spanish Outfit are 5-4 in their first full season. Theyll likely finish 7-9 (Last log in 20th November so hopefully they are enjoying the game and continue to build)

Glizzy Gobblers - The Canadians are 3-6 in their first full season and seem to be building well. Tipped to finish 6-10. (Last login was today so hopefully they are enjoying the game and continue to build)

Konjarnik High Towers - A veteren of the game whose tactics are clearly to build a war chest over the next few seasons before they once again have an assault at the top teams. Tipped to finish 7-9

Hercules - Brand new, but lets hope they stick around.
