Week 7 ahead

What happened so far?

This league looks boring at the top of the table. We've got 5 teams railed a perfect season so far, followed by 5 teams who managed not more than one loss.

Ok, that was the boring part. Interesting is, that a couple of these top 10 teams meet each other during the next weeks. Same goes for teams in the middle section of the table as well as for teams at the bottom end.
Interesting also, a couple of teams that we expected a way more higher, need to make a run up hill if they dont want to slide down into the insignificance.

Starting as of today, we've got:

Sharks vs. Kids: The Game of the day. Will the Kids stop the run of the sharks or will the Kids lose pace to the top of the table?
Little Man vs. Rebels: Who can hold connection to the top of the league?
Samurais vs. Soldiers: Not a meaningsless game in the middle of the table.
Vamosas vs. Traktors: the mid-of-the-season-lead of the NC East division will be played out here.
Venoms vs. Wolves: A Youngster who could manage to fret a lot of veterans in the past.

Good luck Admirals for your today's games

Recap
====

Sharks vs Kids:

What a Tennis Match, it went back and forth with the Sharks made the comeback the Kids not wanted to have. The Kids slid down, and welcome to the Wildcard seats.

Little Man vs. Rebels:

Time to rename: Little Big Man beat the Rebels on the road. After a slow start into the game, both teams went head to head with the better end for the Littles. This game was Blitzing and Thunder. Spectators saw 13 sacks combined, 4 Interceptions, 2 Fumble Recoveries. Little Man stays connected to top of the league, Rebels have to work hard for it for the rest of the season.

Samurais vs. Soldiers:

Outch, Samurais cut themself. With one of the hardest schedules in front, Samurais will have it tough to hold the middle of the table. 2-4 in the books, they really have to think about on how to prevent from relegation spots. Spectators saw a game with a lot of air under the ball without any spectacular moments. One could say this was Poverty vs. Misery, a typical middle of the table battle. With the Soldiers also having a tough schedule in front, they could gain little advantage out of this game.

Vamosas vs. Traktors:

The Divisional Clash of the Week.

Both teams knew exactly what this game meant for them in regard of the long run of the season. No wonder that both prepared accordingly, as if it was the match of the year. Vamosas, with a big will in the bag, came to face and beat its divisonal rival on the road. But they literaly got stuck in Tiefe Furche. It took until the 4th quarter with ~3 minutes left on the clock to score a touchdown in Bulldozers Memorial stadium. Not saying they failed at all, Vamosas could manage to score 5 Fieldgoals to that point, one from 52 and another from 55 yards. With this effort they even took the lead by the end of Q3.

On the other side, The Traktors also tried hard. Within their first 2 drives Vamosas forced them to 2 fast 3 and outs. By the end of Q1 with alreaedy 6 points behind, Traktors could mange their first touchdown.

With a forced fumble, the second quarter started awful for the Traktors again, but they found themself back on track at the end of Q2 with another TD. End of 1st half 9:14 for the Traktors.

3rd quarter again was a defensive battle from both teams, where Vamosas managed to score 6 points by 2 field goal tires. Traktor went short with 0 points.

Vamosas entered Q4 with a 15:14 lead. Traktors answered fast with a 8 plays TD drive. The following drive of Vamosas ended with a 24yrd missed field goal try, just bitter. 5 plays later, Tiefe Furche used the chance to throw a 69 yard bomb against a gassed defense to expand the lead. Vamosas shortened the lead with their first TD of the game, but with 2:23 minutes left on the clock, TTF managed to seal the win.

In 4 weeks the Traktors travels to the Vamosas, most likely to figure out the NC East Divisional Winner.

Venoms vs. Wolves:

An Underdog hunts the Wolf. As predicted by experts, the Venomenals forced the Wolves to get out of their comfort zone, in their own wolf-pack territory!!! A 3:0 lead against the Wolves by the end of the half, but came just short by 6:10 at the end of the game. Thats what we are looking for. Congrats, big game Venom!

Nice write ups. I rode my luck last night, that could just as easily have gone the other way.

Well, you are absolutely right, I was really far from my comfort zone. Definitely expected much more than avg 4yds per play from 22 passes to 5-3-3 defense.
