Today marked the beginning of the inaugural bowl series of Gator Bowls, and the Gators have won their first game in it. We played the Berinsfield Hornets and won to the tune of a 23-16 score in a fairly offensive game, in terms of yards forced on offense for each team.
Other winners were the Havelock Vikings over the Bretzfield Bandits, Thunder and Lightning over the Munich Runners, and San Diego Blitzkrieg over Saker Falcons. This looks like it will be an interesting cup, and I am excited to see who will win it all! Good luck! |

It’s one tough FC to play. Exciting first quarter against TaL. Then all wheels came off and they brought all the thunder and lightning that their name stands for. Congrats !

I kind of came back but in all likelihood even a very unlikely win against San Diego would not be enough to make it to second place as I guess TaL will probably score a win as well.

Any cup I win is a good cup...but this one was fairly competitive (every team lost at least one game) and there weren't any total mismatches.
