Power Rankings, Week 12:

1. Neuseen Buccaneers, 11-0, - -
2. Lyon Eagles, 11-0
3. Misawa, 11-0, +1
4. Fargo Knights, 10-1, -1
5. TigerCats, 7-4, - -
6. BoneCrushers, 10-1, +1
7. Green Bay Hackers, 8-3, -1
8. Maykop Blues, 9-2, - - .
9. Hainaut Gamecocks, 7-4, - -
10. Sacko Del Toros, 7-4, - -
11. Pitcairn Bounty Mutineers, 7-4, - -
12. Andorran Castellers, 6-5, +1
13. Novosibirsk Lions, 7-4, -1
14. Bluebombs, 7-4, +1
15. San Antonio Storm, 6-5, -1
16. BETIS SANPOL, 5-6, - -
17. The TITANS, 7-4, - -
18. Carbon Bay Baby Sharks, 3-8, - -
19. Dolphins Pisa, 5-6, +1
20. GLADIATORI ROMA, 6-5, -1
21. Arsago Seprio Boars, 3-8, - -
22. RiverCity Gamblers, 4-7, - -
23. Bonaval Acorns, 3-8, +1
24. neroverde, 4-7, -1
25. Venice Winged Lions, 2-9, - -
26. Schönspieler, 4-7, - -

Key Takeaways:
1. The NC playoff race got way closer today. Bluebombs, Pitcairn Bounty Mutineers, Sacko Del Toros, and Novosibirsk Lions are now tied at 7-4, all fighting for two Wildcard spots. If the season were to end today, the Toros would claim the #5 spot and Bluebombs would sneak in at #6, but all four of these teams could still win their division, which is crazy.
2. Misawa handled a sudden increase in difficulty nicely, putting away Sacko Del Toros 48-41. It only gets harder from here, with BoneCrushers on the schedule for next game. They appear to be just about as strong as their last Elite appearance.
3. New teams are gaining ground. Bluebombs in the NC and The TITANS in the AC would both make the playoffs if the season ended today.
4. Bonaval Acorns finally had a good game, destroying neroverde 61-19. Even if this turns into a hot streak, it would be too little, too late. Nice to know that breakout games can happen by anybody, so don't let your guard down.

This is getting to be an intense end to the season. Good luck and I look forward to seeing how the playoffs shape up!

Either way this and the game of football in general is always no matter the times a bright spot to look. It's where I can find happiness when there isnt much to be happy about sometimes. So either way I love this game and thoroughly enjoy playing it with you all.

I would like to pick some brains if I may. I think when installing playbooks we all have a certain idea or imagine of the current play/game situation that we are installing bein played out . You often times visualize in your mind how the formation looks and how it should play out. Sometimes we are probably exactly spot on in how the sim Carrie's out these plays/situations.

My question for everyone is this. How often do wonder if maybe the sim sees the play totally different from you. From example : Its 3rd & 2 . You like I formation so that's what you're going with here. You know you have great blocking receivers and have scouted the other team to learn they have very undersized and weak cornerbacks. You think outside run should do the trick. When all reality outside didnt mean "toss" like you envisioned it actually was a HB SLam right into the 6 hole where you're met with the other teams star DE. You envisioned a sweep or crack toss of so variant which should have work but the sim actually means something else .

This is stuff I like to think about sometimes. I'm a huge fan of modern day Up-Tempo,spread , Run pass options, Read option , 21 spread and positonless offensive style schemes. I think that they are super creative and love to see teams that utilize it(almost ever collage and NFL teams have some sort of RPO' packages anymore simply because of effectiveness.

So when I call for a shotgun set and have the Qb take the ball in my mind and assuming the HB is on his left hand side and isnt in a weak set but since the HB would be on the left I imagine a read option type of fake where the QB would fake the give to the RB then Tuck it and run around the left end when set to run to left flat. Is that how it works? I have no idea lol. I know there are no such things in this particular game as fakes or "reads" . But it's fun to think about isnt it? I also do the same with short pass to flats. Is it a short out route is it a WR screen? It's kinda fun trying to think how the sim would think at times and frustrating at others.

Just curious about how well sone rushing qbs have done . What's some of the most yards anyone has had with their qb's ? This is not in anyway to make fun of anyone who doesnt run with their QB that is 100% due to offensive scheme that you enjoy calling and all schemes are unique and powerful in their own way. I'm just curious .

I have had mild success running with my QB against human teams, no more than 50 yards. Not finding the right moments to run with my QB has been a huge part of it. In a recent bot game my QB rushed for 88 yards, but I think against bot teams he’s rushed for 124. You really have to have the right kind of QB for it to work. Tom -G.O.A.T- would never work in the kind of offense you’re describing, but Lamar Jackson thrives in it. You do have to have the personnel to make it work.

The TITANS have gone bot. Sad to see a new team having a breakout season leave.

Badgers' Brutal Power Rankings, Week 13:

1. Neuseen Buccaneers, 12-0, - - . An extremely dominant season for the Bucs. I predict a return to Elite life for them.

2. Lyon Eagles, 12-0, - - . Another team that has been nothing but dominant this season. Very well could be a 1 v. 2 bowl matchup this season.

3. TigerCats, 8-4, +2. The Cats claim a top 3 spot for the first time this season. They're here to stay, and will contend for the championship.

4. Fargo Knights, 11-1, - - . I think we can remove these guys from the Elite contenders list. A six-point win against the struggling GLADIATORI ROMA isn't convincing.

5. BoneCrushers, 11-1, +1. They're starting to prove themselves, with an impressive win against Misawa today.

6. Misawa, 11-1, -3. Don't take too much out of the drop. They will still crush you if you let your guard down.

7. Green Bay Hackers, 8-4, - - . I am not happy with our one point loss to the Toros today. Looks like I have some late-game planning to do.

8. Maykop Blues, 9-3, - - . The Blues are feeling blue after the loss, but still are a force to be reckoned with.

9. Sacko Del Toros, 8-4, +1. A nail-biter win for the Toros has them on the rise. These guys could take away the Blues' division title in a heartbeat.

10. Hainaut Gamecocks, 8-4, - - . The Gamecocks won today, but are stuck in the lower part of the good veteran managers.

11. Pitcairn Bounty Mutineers, 8-4, - - . The Mutineers are living in splendid isolation, which is also meaning that they are dealing with a lack of title-contending players.

12. Andorran Castellers, 7-5, - - . 3999. So close to being 4000, but one away from the magic number.

13. Novosibirsk Lions, 8-4, - - . Are Russian Lions different from African Lions? Cuz there's been some accelerated growth from these guys.

14. San Antonio Storm, 7-5, +1. The Puffy White Clouds were able to make just enough lightning for the 20 point win.

15. Bluebombs, 8-4, -1. You know, these guys currently are in a playoff spot. Just imagine with me now. What if they miraculously make it to the bowl game, and promote to elite, making them probably the first ever Elite Senior Manager. Never mind, that will never happen.

16. BETIS SANPOL, 5-7, - - . Scoring 27 against the Gamecocks is a sign of progress, but wins get you clout, not losing by as many as you score.

17. Carbon Bay Baby Sharks, 3-9, - - . Baby shark-do-do-do-do-do-do. Very accurate description.

18. Dolphins Pisa, 6-6, - - . The Dolphins do be swimming doe. It's hard to throw a football in water.

19. GLADIATORI ROMA, 6-6, - - . GLADIATORI COMA.

20. Arsago Seprio Boars, 3-9, - - . I do like bacon.

21. RiverCity Gamblers, 4-8, - - . 4000, would you look at that. It's a bigger number than 3999, so there's potential for greatness.

22. neroverde, 5-7, +1. so apparently we aren't using capitals now. okay. i'll do that. i'll also beat you.

23. Bonaval Acorns, 3-9, -1. The Acorns are falling! Oh, I hadn't noticed.

24. Venice Winged Lions, 2-10, - - . Don't worry, about a thing, cause every little thing, is gonna be alright. New team blues, that's all.

25. Schönspieler, 4-8, - - . I will be very glad when we finally have enough managers in Fire 1 to boot these guys down to division 2. They desperately deserve it.

Looking forward to the playoffs.

Сoincidentally Novosibirsk Lions moved somewhere much closer to Africa right after coming back to RZA, so who knows..

The wide receivers don't block in this game, so it's not a factor in outside run success.

23. Bonaval Acorns, 4-9, - -
24. Venice Winged Lions, 3-10, - -
25. Schönspieler, 4-9, - -

Key Takeaways:
1. The AC West is shaping up to send three teams to the playoffs for a second straight season. It has proved to be the toughest division in Fire 1, and looks to stay that way for a while.
2. Barring late-season losses from the Mutineers, Lions, or Bluebombs, it seems like Sacko Del Toros has been eliminated from the playoffs this season with a loss today to division rival Maykop Blues. Tough break for a good team.
3. Sleepers: Novosibirsk Lions and Sacko Del Toros. Both of these teams have made leaps and bounds this season. Look out for the Lions, as they will very likely make it to the playoffs. If the Toros find a way to sneak in, don't be surprised to see a deep playoff run.

Hope everyone enjoys the last three games of the regular season and then the playoffs!
