I also went the speed route, but somewhat neglected strength - thus I feel I have too many players with less than 45 strength in positions where I feel it matters.
Imho the physical stats of Elite level teams are so closely matched that small differences matter - Traits, Int, TW, and in my over-eagerness to rebuild after my contract screw-up a few seasons ago, this is where my main roster falls a little short. I'm using too many LBs with under 45 Int, my OL and DL no longer consistently have TW of more than 40 - and both of these were crucial to my previous success. I do have a lot of players coming through that do conform to these minimums, but they are not ready yet  |

Very interesting. I have to say, it is pretty similar over here. 35 of my starters have a speed of 50 or more. 9 are between 49 and 50. My OL is slower but still relatively fast as most are above 40 at least.
But There must be something I m not seeing and this might be it. Eventually some of my players are too slow. Or they don't have enough strength at the end. Or agility. Definitely I don't see a huge difference in skills. I see players doing great against my team who are largely inferior in skills. |

I am clearly less successful than you guys, but I have only 7 and 9 players with 50 SPE or STR.
It may be what's missing to my team, yet over the last 4 seasons I was able to post some nice wins (but none against the Pirates or the Runners). |

Today's loss against the Deflators was a typical error of mine. Taking a defense playbook without realising that the title was off. Instead of playing a standard PB I played one I must have used against a very specific team. Some of the defense formations were hilariously off.
Saturday we have the rematch Runners vs Gladiators. The winner looks lie the likely team to stay. I won't be surprised if Ravencorp takes this one as his team looks stronger and stronger each week. |

Monarchs - 42 wins Admirals - 36 wins Fire - 35 wins Sea Devils - 34 wins Galaxy - 29 wins Thunder - 27 wins Claymores - 27 wins Dragons - 26 wins Oh, and two teams in the playoffs |

So it took a crazy Q4 for me to secure the division title. It tastes a bit bitter with Buzi rebuilt.
Now it will be interesting to see what happens between PJ and DCW. Both can survive the season, both can qualify for the PO. If I finish seed 3, most likely I will face one of them if they qualify at seed 6. |

Looks like the winner of DCW-Ravens goes to the playoffs and the loser to SD.
At this point, I'm 50-50 on whether I stick around much longer. After this season, I'm looking at a massive rebuild, which is a bit exciting on one hand, but I'm not sure how much time I can invest as I settle into Montana. If I can't give enough attention to make this worth my while, what's the point? Regardless, best of luck PJ this weekend, and congratulations to Kanar for rising up and taking control of the division. Even a rebuilding Buzi looks like he will be down for only one season for before promoting back (which says as much about the mild drop off of talent Buzi has as it does about the struggling state of SD 1). |

Best of luck Ptdoc to you too, this weekend.
My heart will do all the possible to win, depend of my results in SC/CoC in the previous days, I could even think to play my MOTY. I do not think I can reach the playoff because of my awful defense this season my PD is horribly low. First I have to win  but even if Spacebar Kraken and Rio Star should lost I am at -45 PD compared to Rio Star.
My head and wallet instead are saying it would be better get relegated... |
