So far for my 50mill contribution, I have made a profit of 125,000 from the mediacentre. Do we get a payment at every financial update? If so there looks to be 4 left before end of season, so about 9million more profit.

Need to reach 91% contribution to start getting the elite level payback and that basically means 31 teams paying full contribution which never usually happens as we always have 2 or 3 teams in financial difficulty towards seasons end. |

I understand that there will always be players that get into financial difficulties and I'm sure that this happens in every league across RZA but I think if all players can get into the mindset of contributing the full 50m at the start of the season then this will help in the long term
We currently have 6 players who contributed 0, and 3 players who have put in either 10m or 20m (1 of those teams also has a weekly players wage bill over £4m so needs to think now about the future sustainability) That's 9 out of our current active 26 not contributing the maximum and putting Thunder at the bottom of the rankings and at a cash disadvantage |

If we don't increase Mediacenter contribution we all fail couse we cannot sustain high salaries |

Can't say I'm not disappointed to lose today. I finally have a dominant run game and I still lose to a 9.1yd average air attack, impressive throwing. It just wasn't in the stars for me today I guess. Good luck in the next title you old scot! :-)

Dumplings Weekly Review 4th August
Congrats to the Narann, Destroyers, Deflators and Wolflings who won their respective Wild Card games. I always think that at any time, but especially during the playoffs, that it goes to show that on any given day any team can beat another. As a neutral I watched the live ticker and really enjoyed the ebb and flow of each game. Narann beat Alligators 31:23 but it wan't straightforward. Down 14:3 at halftime the Alligators scored 20 unanswered 3rd Qtr points to lead 23:14 and look as they they would stroll home but then Narann scored 17 unanswered 4th Qtr points to take the win 
Destroyers beat Pinoys 27:17 but it wasn't straightforward. Down 10:17 at halftime the Destroyers then went on to score 17 unanswered 2nd half points to book a trip to the next round
Deflators beat Bolts 24:20 with the lead changing hands throughout the game and twice in the 4th quarter where the Deflators scored last with 3:52 on the clock to keep their season alive
Wolflings beat Xu Da 42:29 but this game didn't always look it would go the Wolflings way. Xu Da jumped out to a 10:0 lead before momentum changed and the Wolflings set up a date with the Centurians
Roll on the Divisional playoff round where I am too nervous of my own teams performance to make predictions. However I invite everyone else to be bold and predict the winners

Dumplings Weekly Review 8th August
Congrats to the Deflators, Centurions, Bridges and Dumplings who won their respective Divisional Playoff games. Deflators 35:29 Wild Thangs - WHAT A GAME - Down 6 the Wild Thangs recover a Deflators fumble on the opposition 18 yard line with 33 seconds to go. However they can only move the ball 12 yds before time expires and Deflators hang on to win Wolflings 6:38 Centurions - The Wolflings used 7 different rushers in this game but were unable to score a TD as the Centurions cruised through to the next round Narann 14:42 Bridges - Did Narann forget to set their alarm clock and turn up late as they allowed Bridges to score 42 unanswered points before scoring their own 14 pts in the 4th Qtr Destroyers 3:34 Dumplings - In the all Norfolk encounter the UK team strangled the life out of the US team in the first three quarters before exploding into life with 3TDs in the 4th Qtr Roll on the Conference Championships where anything could happen  Last edited on 2020-08-08 20:09:55 by dumpling |
