Sorry guys. i've spend way to much money on a kind of rebuild. Don't have any money at the moment. Will contribute again next season...

That IS very high indeed!! Remember that Agility is a wage related skill as well. It took me 5 seasons to realise this. Training this to 45 for example will make your wage bill skyrocket out of control!

45 is way too high for all players. Taking 1 or 2 players to 45 is great, but not all at once. This is one of my problems as well. If the game will allow it, I used to want to train all the way up to 50. That is not possible in this game for us to succeed though as we need money for lots of things. Salary Management is huge in this game.

Btw, since I just can't stop training all the way up, I have adjusted some of my thinking to getting guys that are 3 or 2.5 Talent on my team. This prevents me from training all the way up, but it does limit their ability. I am ok with that as a 3 talent guy will only train non-physicals up to 44. Once they get to a yellow cap on non-physicals at a 3 star, it makes me think to myself....oops...gotta stop training that, or at least think about it. Hope that helps out some of the players that are in some financial trouble, but they may have to stop non-physicals and agility around 35-39 for a while to build up cash flow.

Low talent players are great for back up roles. And Talent has no bearing on whether I take a player or not. I pay it no attention. However, I will never franchise a player with 3.0 talent and less.

Dumplings weekly review

Hope you don't mind but I thought I might write up a very quick review of the results of each week.

Week 1
In my opinion no upsets this week as all the teams fancied for the playoffs started with a win.
And only 2 close games which were:
The Pinoys beating the soon to go bot Athletics 24:23 - A great start for the Pinoys which should put them on track to do better than their 6-10 record of last season
RC Frogs hang on 16-10 to beat Inbhir Narann - Going into the 4th Quarter it was 10-0 in a low scoring game but then the game exploded into life with a further 4 scores but Narann left it to late for a comeback

Big game match up of week 2 - Attack Dogs @ Mantis - The NC South front runners battle off for early season bragging rights

No, we don't mind at all you doing this. I no longer have the time, and I'm sure Tpal70 will help as well.

Great read

I can tell you now I am not ready to beat Mantis, let alone climb out of the basement of our tough division.

Here's to the Landru Athletics and their amazing run in RZA.

Was currently the second-longest tenured manager behind Pete before going bot today.

Well done and hope he returns!!!

A giant of the game has left indeed. Shame he didn't leave a message to say he was going. Another part of the RZA structure has crumbled...

Mind? I absolutely love you doing this and please please please keep going. Because
of being a dad, diverging interests and and mostly because work is way more busy (I was able to do quite a lot in quiet weeks ) I do not have time anymore to do the newsletters as much as it pains me. So please keep the flame going!

I thank you for it! (in Corona time do we need to stop using this emoji )

Dumplings weekly review

Week 2
The week in which the season bursts into life

My big game prediction last week was Attack Dogs v Mantis and boy what a doozy we had.
The game had it all - Sacks, Interceptions, a tying TD with 28 seconds left and then OT with a FG winning it after both sides had punted away possession. Great result Mantis

Want a last minute win then look no further than RC Frogs at home to Wolflings clinching the game with 50 seconds left. I thought that the Wolflings were favourites so was it the home field advantage or are the Frogs the real deal this year? We'll find out next week.

Want a great 2nd half comeback then go watch the Willemstad Bridges. Down 19:3 at home to Inbhir Narann the coach must have given the team talk of his life as the Bridges turn it around to win by 5

Big game match up of week 3 is Dumplings @ Frogs in the NC North
