A great write up Gator! I am looking forward to the season ahead - more so than if I were in the Elite division. I will look afresh at things this season after a tanking hiatus. However, there is a long way to go yet.

I guess that my guys have been outperforming while winning against stronger teams. I expect that this season will be more unforgiving and will feature a change of division champion here, in AC North.
Which doesn't mean that it will be an easy task

Thank you everyone, I am glad you all like my yearly predictions. If I am motivated enough, I will write one at week 4, week 8, maybe 12, and then before playoffs start.

Also, I think we've got quite an upset with the Roosters winning against the Gators. This season will be much more intense due to more human teams, which is great.

It's the moment you've all been waiting for. Season 39 power rankings! Welcome and good luck to the new teams from D2, and it's no surprise our returning teams sit atop the rankings and I don't believe that will change all season. Way more competition in the 2nd and third tier teams. This should be a competitive season as there are already some questions on likely WC teams.

1. Berinsfield Hornets 3-0 - Turned it on in the playoffs his last stint in D1, hot right out of the gates in his return with a commanding victory over the Bruisers.

2. Leverkusen Leopards 3-0 - A zero or one loss season is likely for the previously elite Leopards. We don't get an Aliens-Leopards regular season matchup to continue the rivalry, but it's very possible we see these teams face off in round 2.

3. Paxtang Black Panthers 3-0 - The Panthers have shown up early with two quality wins over the Knights and Saints. We get a Hornets-Panthers matchup in 2 weeks that should be great.

4. Poznan Knights 2-1 - The Knights follow up a great season last year with a fantastic win over the Aliens and a close loss to the Panthers. Are they the Number 2 team in the AC?

5. Torchwood Aliens 2-1 - Was number one last season, and decided to stay in D1 rather than move up. Their old division rival Leopards are back trying to return to elite status, but an early loss to the Knights

6. Osler Rotties 3-0 - My spoiler team from last season has started on fire. They figured out how to beat the Kraken (putting a bounty on their QB) and blanked the Letaidens. I'm interested in how disruptive to the NC this team will be going forward.

7. Midnight Marauders 2-1 - Marauders started out right with a win over the Bruisers. They should coast this season with a very easy division schedule. They did well last season making it to the second round before losing to the eventual champion Malones.

8. Space Kraken 2-1 - Last season's conference runner-up, the Kraken, got surprised by the Rotties in week one, but followed it up with a nice win against the season 38 undefeated Warriors.

9. West Geatish Warriors 2-1 - Geatish takes a tough loss to the Kraken and finally has a little competition in the division. They'll still win it, but the conference is tougher than it has been in a few seasons they will actually have to play in round 1.

10. Burnaby Bruisers 1-2 - The record doesn't match the ranking, but we know they'll be right there in the end. Easily the hardest schedule so far with games against the Hornets and Marauders. They'll be a tough out come playoff time.

11. Letaidans 2-1 - Our first rookie team in the rankings had a great win against the Owls, but followed it up with a dud against the Rotties. We'll see which team shows up more frequently.

12. Park Ridge Owls 2-1 - The Owls got surprised in week 1 but settled down with solid wins in each of the two next games. They let their superstar QB go so he could spend his last couple seasons fighting in the elite league. Hopefully the new guy can get this team to compete because this wild card battle in the NC is going to be really exciting.

13- Da Raiders 2-1- Big upset with Da Raiders inching the Lions and playing the Bruisers well enough, could this team sneak into the last WC spot in the AC?

14. Rheydter Royal Roosters 2-1 - The Roosters also had a big upset knocking off the Gators. They get 4 free wins this season, could they sneak into spot 6 as well?

15. Florida Gators 2-1 - At least they didn't get a super team right before going bot to open the season. The Gators are looking to regain that swamp magic and return to the playoffs. The division rival Knights are looking pretty dangerous again and their matches are always crazy to read.

16. St. Leo University Lions 0-3 - The Lions have also had a rough schedule with losses to the Leopards and Warriors. I fully expect them to rebound and compete for the playoffs.

17. MK Saints 1-2 - Last season's D2 champion has had a rough start with early matches against the Aliens and Panthers. That's quite the welcome committee.

18. Eastern Wolves 1-2 - Another team victimized by a difficult early schedule, the Wolves are looking to improve in the 2nd season here.

19. KAFakofers 2-1 - Could this team compete in future seasons? They played the Owls tough and beat Malacok. They'll have to build their stadium so they can make money to keep their promising players.

20. Fehevari Malacok 2-1 - A surprise loss to the KAFofers already has this team in trouble of not making the playoffs. He needs to finish his stadium to get out of financial trouble before thinking about extra football.

21. SARMIS 2-1 - SARMIS gets their big rivalry win over birney. I am not quite sure why I enjoy their matches so much. To be continued...

22. birney's weekenders 2-1 - Birney loses to SARMIS in a storied rivalry that is just fun to wonder about. What's a SARMIS, who is birney and why isn't he capitalized? And most importantly how could both of these teams play this game for so long and not build their stadiums?

23. Hemet Hooligans 2-1 - A sound beating by the Knights shows this team isn't quite ready to compete. Hopefully they learn and save up that money to build a team that sticks.

24. Minnesota Axemen - 2-1 - The Axemen are in the same spot as the Hooligans but at least they got to play the Seahawks.

25. Vysočina Seahawks 1-2 - This team will only beat bots, but they are paying their players nothing. They may not win, but they'll be banking more than anyone this season.... if they built their stadium.
