Let's go for the +90% of the mediacenter pledge.
We are very near! 50M left.

Who pledges 50M today will receive 13.75M back tomorrow.
It would like pledge 36.25M instead of 50M with a plus of 27M for him in the whole season!

It is more or less like playing the Elite post season divisional / conference / bowl matches!

We had a strong discussion about it last season. I just hope that the last two managers will pledge their 50 Mill this evening.

Hell Hounds manager Amplified has not logged in since Sunday morning. My guess is he logs in and will pledge. At last I hope so.

Juggernaut Jackalopes is surely working on his liquids but seems to be punch drunk. I hope he finds the pledge button. He logged in this morning but did not so far.

Our roster is complete for this season. But in case there is a really fantastic player like Zenin expressing the wish to join our organization, we will make every effort to find some cap space for him

Zenin is still available ... Good luck !

The unofficial pre-season ranking based on the last season (I wanted to do predictions but just impossible)

The Finalists of Season 39 :
1 Salt City Pirates - The League Champion 12-4
2 Helsinki Gangsters - The runner Up and AC Champion 13-3

The Divisional Finalists :
3 Comeback Kids - AC Vice Champion 14-2
4 Social Distance Runners - NC Vice Champion 13-3

Made the Divisional Playoffs
5 Wilmersdorf Wadenbeisser - The Best Team of RZA and AC North Champion 12-4
6 Chelt Nam Bobbers - NC West Champion 10-6
7 Istanbul Whitings - AC East Champion 12-4
8 San Diego Blitz - NC South Champion 12-4
9 Baltimore Ravens - NC East Vice Champion 12-4
10 AS Roma Wolves - AC West Vice Champion 10-6
11 Lyon Eagles - AC North Vice Champion 9-7

Elite in 39, Elite now
12 BU Terriers 10-6
13 Hell Hounds 9-7
14 Black Dragons 8-8
15 Basterds 8-8
16 Erudite Linstock 7-9

The 1st League Champions
17 DC Washingtonians
18 Free Agent Mascots
19 Juggernaut Jackalopes
20 Saker Falcons
21 Willemstad Bridges
22 Leverkusen Leopards
23 TigerCats
24 Bretzfeld Bandits

The 1st League Vice Champions
25 Marife-Lacion
26 Bracciano Lakers
27 LoneStar Armadillos
28 Diorite Lions
29 Rome Centurions
30 Space Kraken
31 Maykop Blues
32 Philadelphia Eagles

Matches of the Day (by RZA)
Social Distance Runners ELO 1224 vs. DC Washingtonians ELO 1261
The Social Distance Runners were the surprise of last season. DC is coming back from being exiled for one season. Both are among the reasons why SeaDevils will tell you, the have the toughest region of all. The Runners team is more expensive and DC has a higher ranking. They should win. And I don't want to bet against my team but DC will take all the enthusiasm of winning the SD1 Bowl and give the Runners hell. This match will be as tight as can be. Runners by FG. (because I really don't want to bet against my team and I have been praying since Sunday)

Oher top matches :

Comeback Kids ELO 1282 vs. Hell Hounds ELO 1131
The Kids were the best team of the regular season. The Hounds are not to be underestimated though. I believe, the Kids will prevail by a 2 TD difference.

San Diego Blitz ELO 1349 vs. Baltimore Ravens ELO 1250
Don't be surprised to see both of them in the playoffs. Both had rathe surprisingly short playoffs, dropping out earlier than they might have thought themselves. The last two matches the Ravens won by a FG. I could see the same outcome, but for the San Diego squad this time. Or by the Ravens. Honestly, they both are so excellent. If you have none of these two on your match schedule, be happy.

If someone wants to throw in some predictions for the other matches, please do. I am out of wits.

Have a good start into the new season !

Welcome everyone to season 40 here in Elite. I am Rufio and I'll be your new host this year, coming all the way from Monarchs one. I didn't expect to be here so soon and I'm pretty sure I'll get fired after one season, so let's make the most of it! The season is just about to start so where else would be begin other than with predictions?

1. Salt City Pirates - Can't have any accurate prognostication without including the reigning champ at the top. LuLuBa stormed this postseason on a mission after falling short his previous trip. His squad will be right there at the end again this season. Also, a completely unbiased Go Monarchs!

2. Helsinki Gangsters - Claymores' top dog had another strong season adding another conference championship to his belt making that 2 bowl trips in the last 3 seasons. Henry should have no issue claiming a bye again this year in an attempt to make it 3/4.

3. Wilmersdorf Wadenbeisser - Holly gave us a scare to end last season as his team continued to win while taking a sabbatical before falling to the eventual conference champion Gangsters. A well rested and rejuvenated GM could put the rest of the league on watch now that the champ has returned.

4. Comeback Kids - This team could be listed at number 1 if it weren't for a late game meltdown against the Gangsters. markupst hopefully fired all responsible and is ready to claim his first elite championship.

5. Social Distance Runners - Sea Devils fan favorite Buziano has come a long way in a short time. He stormed right into elite and claimed the 1 seed. In the most competitive division can he continue his ascension to the top of the league?

6. San Diego Blitz - Galaxy stalwart Steve lost his long time rival OrangeCrush last season, will he pour one out for his lost comrade and take that motivation to the postseason where he has hasn't gotten a win in the last 2 seasons?

7. Baltimore Ravens - PJ's squad is entering their fifth straight in elite and made the postseason in each. He's looking to reclaim top spot in the division from the Runners and hoist his first elite conference championship trophy.

8. Istanbul Whitings - mezgitm's team came on strong in establishing themselves as the Thunder's team to beat last season advancing into the divisional round in their first elite season. He's mentioned his core is on the older side so can they make the final push before hanging up the cleats?

9. Chelt Nam Bobbers - 13 seasons in elite, losing the division only once. Clearly the best Dragons has to offer. It's amazing Johnny finds time to run such a consistent team while also chasing bank robbers. They were a field goal away from the championship two seasons ago and they'll be in the playoffs again this year looking to get back.

10. DC Washingtonians - Here we have our first non-returning elite team coming in at 10. ptdoc's team made the playoffs and got relegated (seems like a seadevils special move lately). He's back again and will attempt to stick around. Wouldn't be slightly surprising to see a repeat of season 38, he's just hoping it's the runners or Ravens heading back instead.

11. BU Terriers - It wasn't that long ago I was playing flag football at the Boston University sport complex, and now I have nothing relevant to say about it. sotko put together a really nice season and took advantage of OrangeCrush's departure just missing out on a playoff run. He's looking to establish himself as the #2 Galaxy team this season so he can duel it out with the Blitz long term.

12. AS Roma Wolves - The Admirals are doing their best Seadevils impression having good teams relegated. The Wolves stuck around this time, but with the Kids, PR Chaser, Mascots, and Magpies all trying to stay in elite. No surprise here to see 9-10 wins and get sent back down this season or the next. Regardless, Scratobones has put together a dangerous team that will play extra football this season.

13. Lyon Eagles - The Eagles won a crazy tight last WC spot over PR Chaser last season not just to make the playoffs but to stay in elite as well. Meitheisman, no relation to Joe, will look to repeat a wildcard berth and make some noise come playoff time.

14. Free Agent Mascots - Sanco's squad only lost 1 game all last season, in the supercup playoffs. He certainly won't have that same success amongst the top competition but a feat nonetheless. The Mascots will need to compete with the Wolves to stay here, and could get relegated as a playoff team.

15. Marife-Lacion - Two seasons ago hourt got relegated at 10-6, now he's being ranked in the top half of the chart, but still last in the division. So... sorry you chose Seadevils?

16. Hell Hounds - The Hounds have been a team of incredible streaks. Season 38 started 9-0, finished 9-7. Season 39 had 4 separate streaks of 3 or more. Probably not the consistency Amplified is looking for.

17. Black Dragons of Flaming abs - This Monarch stalwart has been in Monarchs elite since elite was created, unfortunately the last couple seasons haven't gone so well. angus should be pretty excited to see some Kraken free wins, maybe they can boost the Dragons back to prominence.

18. Saker Falcons - hotel returns to elite after a Claymores campaign with only 1 loss. Does he have enough to pass the Hounds to stay in elite this time around?

19. Basterds - Jetto finished 8-8 last season, showing improvement in a much improved division. He had the space to let the upstart Whitings dominate the division, but will the Bridges or Centurions push them back to D1?

20. Diorite Lions - ccdiorite's team spent 10 years in elite before getting knocked out in season 38. Only took one season to get back, but Claymore is looking more competitive than ever right now.

21. TigerCats - The Fire 1 champs led by skeetz have quite the hill to climb if they want to unseat the Eagles. They had some impressive wins last season, but the Ti-cats are remaining humble "I'm here for the draft pick." I don't think I believe them.

22. Bracciano Lakers - The Runner up to The Mascots in Admirals 1 Yashin makes his return to elite. He had a solid 7-9 record the last time around, but with the highly competitive Admirals division I only see them heading back next season.

23. Juggernaut Jackalopes - One of these two is going to be sticking around. The Jackalopes beat them in the championship but both were impressive in Dragons 1. punch drunk can seize that number 2 spot but will need repeat performances against the Armadillos.

24. LoneStar Armadillos - The stars at night are hopefully bigger and brighter than the loss in the Dragon bowl. A lot more is at stake this season and PlumDumb will need his guys ready to claim that #2 spot in Dragons.

25. Bretzfield Bandits - Kottan makes his return to elite looking to improve and burgal that #2 spot from the Terriers. Probably won't happen but that division hasn't been open in a long time.

26. Williamstad Bridges - The Thunder champs rolled through the playoffs and expect to challenge the Basterds to stick around in their first season in elite. Turnturnturn has shown the team can compete, but there's not much more of an elite wake up call as getting WW in week 1.

27. Maykop Blues - It's been a long time since alexshans84 has been in elite and he'll need to knock off the Eagles and get revenge on the TigerCats if he wants to stay.

28. Leverkusen Leopards - The Monarchs Champion had a really rough go in his last elite stint. This time he's hoping to unseat the Dragons and ruin their streak. More likely he will be beating up the Kraken again next season in d1.

29. Rome Centurions - Thunder runner up Tullo Ostilio stormed through the Thunder playoffs until running into the impressive Bridges. He will hope to gain experience in his first trip to elite so next time he can stick around.

30. Philadelphia Eagles - Galaxy's runner up had a surprise victory against the previously unbeaten beautiful Guiness fanatics to make the championship but the Cinderella story will end in elite but has a promising future with such success on low salary.

31. Space Kraken - Clearly the coolest logo in Elite league, but that's about all they have going for them. They took the underdog story and ran with it until losing to the Leopards in Monarchs 1. A sub 2m salary until deciding to re-up the roster to begin the season they were really looking forward to the number 1 pick... until....

32. Erudite Linstock - Seems after 3 seasons in elite Dissolve has decided to blow it all up and start over, stealing my top draft pick in the process. Now there better be at least 2 studs available.

Phew, that was a lot. I've gone this far, might as well finish it up right?

Playoff teams:

AC

Wilmersdorf Wadenbeisser
Istanbul Whitings
Free Agent Mascots
AS Roma Wolves

Conference Championship

Comeback Kids over Gangsters

NC
Baltimore Ravens
Chelt Nam Bobbers
DC Washingtonians
San Diego Blitz

Conference Championship

Salt City Pirates over Social Distance Runners

Superbowl

Comeback Kids over Salt City Pirates

I hope I'm wrong because we need more Monarch championships!

Thanks for tuning in everyone, I am still Rufio and I need to send a thank you to my sponsors, friends, family, and especially my agent since I'm certainly not qualified to be here. Here's to a great season and good luck!
