Great job mate. I enjoyed it very much. I know Admirals is an hell of league and here there are always 3 of the 5 best teams. My personal objective is to have a final better score than last appearance. I know it is too few, but frankly speaking I cannot expect much more from my team. |

Was surprised to win. I turned the game off in the middle of the 3rd Quarter thinking loss for sure. I don't know why, but Jack, you have the Worst luck against the Black Dragons.

This is has been a rough first match day for my team. after the incredible last season, my team and myself are back down to earth.
A short look at the most exciting matches of day 2 MATCH OF THE DAY Helsinki Gangsters 1-0 vs. DC Washingtonians 1-0 Judging from day 1 these two teams could actually meet again this season, if you get my drift. DC annihilated the conference finalist Social Distance Runners. Helsinki showed why they made last years bowl. Their only league encounter was 8 month ago. DC won 17-13. The Gangsters had their revenge some weeks later in the SuperCup playoffs winning 21:16. Expect a thriller on the highest level ! If I go by what happened Saturday, DC will win. Other important matches : BU Terriers 1-0 vs. San Diego Blitz 0-1 The battle of the NC South. With Orange Crush gone, everybody assumed that Solana Steve would have a lifetime subscription for the division title. After suffering an OT loss against the Ravens and the win of the Terriers against Lyon there is a real opportunity for the Bostoners. In their last league match the Terriers won 23:12. San Diego is still the favorite but there is a fine smell of a possible upset lingering in the air. Istanbul Whitings 0-1 vs. Salt City Pirates 1-0 The surprise of last season got treated to a surprise themselves on day 1 when jet motivated his Basterds to upset the division rival. The whitings could not get a tougher matchup on day 2. The current Elite champion looked extremely solid against the Eagles. Anything but a win by the Pirates would be another big surprise. And the Whitings are always good for a surprise, as we know. Juggernaut Jackalopes 1-0 vs. Comeback Kids 0-1 The Kids need to come back from an unexpected first day loss agains the Hell Hounds. Meeting a freshly promoted team should give them an say opportunity to do just that. But the Jackalopes showed in their first match that they have not come back to Elite just to get a good draft position. Their 66-3 win gives them first rank on the league. Based on what I know from last season, the Kids should win. Leverkusen Leopards 0-1 vs. Social Distance Runners 0-1 On Saturday the Runners were degraded to passive bystanders by a furious team from Washington. At the same time the Leopards showed that they are for serious business. They put their fangs into the Black Dragons and lost by only a small margin. They definitely looked like the For both teams a loss would put them into a very bad position to the dream of keeping the league. For the Runners and their success of last season this would be a very rude awakening. As the manager of the Runners I can only hope for a win. No idea what will happen. Marife-Lacion 1-0 vs. Black Dragons 1-0 Marife is the team in the SeaDevils division that is talked about the least so far. They relegated as 4th of their division 2 seasons ago with a 10-6 record. Expect them to get another positive record this season. I will the same for the unpredictable Dragons. Both had close wins in their first match. And both need a win not to lose ground in the race for the playoffs. I do see a very close match with the Dragons as favorites. I could call more matches but I will stop here to get this out in time. |
