Monarchs Fan Zone Quiz
Welcome to the final fan zone challenge and after 3 games of skill, strength and agility, we now test their intelligence. Larry – hello, we are at the Oxford centre for advanced learning and the final challenge for the Monarchs fan clubs. Chuck – yes Larry, it will be 1 round of questions, which will be on football and the Monarchs league. If there's a tie then a 2nd round on general knowledge. Larry – here is our first contestant Ron of Area 51.......so first question....how many teams play in Monarchs AC ? …...Ron ...16..........correct, next......how many points for a touchdown ?......Ron....6 points........correct and finally......how many players are allowed on the depth chart for a league game ?......Ron.....55 players......correct... Chuck - that's 3 out of 3 for Ron, good start.Next is Phil for the Screaming Stingers.... Larry – first question......How many teams play in Monarchs NC ? ….. Phil ...16.....correct, next …..... How many points for a field goal ? …. Phil....3 points......correct.... and finally, who won the Monarchs 1 championship final ? ….. Phil....Space Kraken.......correct Chuck – another 3 out of 3, we have some smart fans here, now we see Randy of the Metrotown Men. They changed their name after the last challenge as they wanted to sound more butch. Larry – question 1 is …....how many teams play in Monarchs 1 ? ….... Randy … 32 ….. correct, and now … how many points for a safety ? …. 2 points....correct.. and lastly... who did the Space Kraken beat in last season championship final ? ...Poznan Knights …..correct. Chuck – 3 out of 3 again, now it's Harry for Paint it Black... Larry – first question …... how many teams play in AC North ? … Harry .. 4 ….. correct, next question is … how many points for 2 touchdowns and 2 missed extra points ? ….... Harry.. 14....incorrect its 12 points...lastly... which teams returned from the Elite league ? …..Harry...Bullbogs and Black Dragons.....correct Chuck – 2 out of 3 for Harry, I think he rushed the maths question, costly mistake. Now Piotr for the Squires... Larry – question 1 is …....How many games does a team play in the regular season? ...Piotr...16....correct.. how many points for 5 field goals ? ….. Piotr.....15 points....correct, now.... How many teams will compete in the playoffs ? ..Piotr … 16.....incorrect, its 12.... Chuck – 2 out of 3 for Piotr, now a surprise choice for the Tentacles, Big Dave.... Larry – first question.....How many teams are relegated for the Elite league ? … Big Dave...1....incorrect, its 2 teams, now .. what is the lowest score you can have and still win ? ….. Big Dave.....3 points...incorrect its 2 points for a safety. And lastly …. how many wildcard teams are there in the playoffs ? .. Big Dave …. 6....incorrect, its 4 teams. Chuck – 0 out of 3 for Big Dave. So we have a 4 way tie, so now its general knowledge.... Larry – this will be 1 question and its will be a buzzer round......first to answer wins.......the average person does what 13 times a day.......................Phil …...scratch nose ? Incorrect … Randy … Sleep .. incorrect ….. Harry .. Brush your hair... incorrect................ Ron …..Laughs ?.................correct and the winner is Ron of Area 51 fan club. Chuck so the final resuls are : 1 - Ron - Area 51 = 10 points 2 - Phil – Screaming Stingers = 5 points 2 -Randy - Metrotown Men = 5 points 2 - Harry – Paint it Black = 5 points 5 - Piotr – Squires = 2 points 6 - Big Dave – Tentacles = 1 points *judges decided to split the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place points equally" 1st = Area 51 – 24 pts 2nd = Metrotown Men – 21 pts 2nd = Tentacles – 21 pts 4th = Screaming Stingers – 19 pts 5th = Paint it Black – 16 pts 6th = Squires – 14 pts I hope you enjoyed this, its was just for fun, so laugh 13 times a day.  |

That's a very disappointing effort from Harry. Messing up simple maths is not good, but we can accept that. But, bribing his way into the finals with only 2 correct questions is not the behavior we expect from our fans.
The Paint it Black delegation hereby declares that we are willing to return all the ill-gotten points. |

So he only got 1 correct. |

I look at the recording and after slapping the VAR operator for being asleep, i will let the results stand.
*to be honest i got into a bind, I had a funny scenario worked out in my head , but struggled to get it on paper, so sort of rushed this before I gave up on it. I will do more stuff with fans reaction to games rather than outside events in future* |

Depends on which throne you are talking about. If it's the monarchs throne and a ticket to elite, then your shortlist has to include letaidens, dragons and leopards. And of course the forever rivals bruisers and hornets.
