Thanks to a great fourth quarter my team was able to steal the win for the Bandits. It could have been a bit different, had my kicker stopped celebrating the league win some hours earlier in the evening before.
Bobbers avoided, here come the Werewolves. |

2020 - RETURN OF THE JEDI vs Bradford Bulls - The Jedi travel to 'oop narth' but are not going to savour the delights of Bradford's fine Asian cuisine. They mean business. Jedi to end the Bulls' participation in the event. Bretzfeld Bandits vs Chelt Nam Bobbers - Cheltenham, an English town famous for posh horsey types. They'll have no time for Banditry. Tally ho! Bobbers to win. Leeds Celtics vs Diorite Lions - probably the toughest '2nd place' team in this round, my Celts have employed the 'Woad Raider' offense to great effect thus far in the tournament - but we'll die at the hands of Diorite. Lions to win Rome Centurions vs TigerCats - Having conquered Germany and England to get this far, the Romans will capture the Tigers for use in their gladiatorial shows. Centurions to march on. Social Distance Runners vs Werewolves - You can't catch lycanthropy if you stay 2 metres away from them. Runners to progress. Vicious Attack Dogs vs San Diego Blitz - Fire will rain down and cleanse San Diego's streets of rabid wild dogs... Blitz to go through. Salt City Pirates vs Tampa Bay Bandits - Salt City hoist the jolly roger and raid the coastal settlements of Florida, coming away with chests overflowing with pieces of eight. Pirates to win. BobBoy Magpies vs Morgantown Mad Dogs - ooo, shiny stuff in Morgantown too, Magpies will take the valuables and secrete them in their nest ready for the next round... JonnyP, since your post has made the Forum Gold, can you u p d a t e your post at the top about what it was about? When originally reading it, I had no clue what it was about, but was able to click the forum link and see it was a Friendly Cup.
