Okay now that I've had a little more time to analyze teams and schedules I'm going to do a little more in depth season playoff preview going into records and postseason results. I'm excited to see how some of the new teams shake things up.

I hope you do! I was wrong on quite a few teams last season (Ticats, Rome, and Dillos come to mind)

But Rufio ranked you lucky #26; maybe it will work out as well for you as last preseason's #26.

Rufio, these are great predictions and lots of pressure for me to somehow find the time to do some predictions. It might be a short version only and I hope to get it done Friday..

Yes, Luluba and Dumba, 60 million was a huge loss. When I started to build this formerly young team with highly talented players, I did not see how much money they would ask when getting into the prime of their careers. Some of the players had to leave end of last season as otherwise my overall salary might have gone to 12 or 13 Million. Well, this might change next season as some of my players have been really fed up dropping out much too early in the SuperCup and not going further in the league playoffs.

As Rufio points out, I try to make up the losses by gambling on match predictions. It seems this has cost me actually more than I won and I fear for the worst this season.

And here we go again. I did not even have taken the time to work my now depth chart or my playbook but everyone has to have priorities and mine are to make big bucks on the RZA predictions as these seem the only option to balance my team budget this season.

Black Dragons vs. Salt City Pirates
Last season they met three times. The Dragons won twice, including the important SC playoff match. I would not be surprised if they did it again as they seem to always have a good start into a new season and they seem to like them pirates.

BobBoy Magpies vs. AS Roma Wolves
If Rufio is right, this match is going to be in favour of the Magpies. But I believe in the Kraken curse. the wolves will show why Bob is still seen as a boy and not yet a man.

Bradford Bulls vs. Home Malones
These two teams like to play each other. The Malones at home wil try to take revenge for the lost bowl. and I believe they will prevail.

BU Terriers vs. Dumbarajko Elephants
The Elephants are back and they will drive Rufio crazy this season, I am sure. Two seasons back they scored spectacular wins like against former best team ever WW who was not able to bite into the elephant calves. Winning against the Terriers would be one of the first big upsets of the season. This will be my big play of the week.

Chelt Nam Bobbers vs. Leeds Celtics
I don't know how the match will play out but at the end the name of the winner will be Jonny. Welcome back to the Celtics. I am sure the third best RZA team of all time will be among the best teams of the season and a strong contender to go to the playoffs where they might meet the Bobbers once again.

DC Washingtonians vs. San Diego Blitz

MATCH OF THE DAY ! Could there be a better start into the new season than this match ? Rufio sees both of them in the playoffs and even I will put my money on both of them to make it. For the first match, anything could happen. And I have an inkling that Steve will start with a win at home.

Deflators vs. GLADIATORI ROMA

Both of them have come back to Elite and will now start the fight to stay here. The last time they played each other was in 2017 giving us no clues of how this may go on Saturday. When lost, find a good quote to get orientation. all roads lead to Rome. The Gladiators will win this one.

Diorite Lions vs. Green Mark Packers

Let me copy and paste : The last time they played each other was in 2017 giving us no clues of how this may go on Saturday. The Lions were one of only three teams to beat my team in the last regular season while my team won against the Packers the prior season. My best guess is, the Lions will pack a win into their luggage when getting back home after the match.

Gardians vs. 16_horsepower

16 horsepower does not sound like a whole lot until you have sixteen horses in front of you. And these are Italian stallions so they might be fast. On the other hand we have the Gardians looking much more alive now than in they BSOD period. And they will start their comeback with a win.

Hell Hounds vs. Catalunya 1714

do you remember two seasons ago when we all thought that Catalunya would go down without a win ? Do you remember that a few matches later they looked like a good bet for the playoffs ? And yet, they got relegated at the end. This is another team that will cost me lots of cash and Rufio some of his hair. In season 39 the two of them won one match each. I believe the Hours will get this win this time but Catalunya might take their revenge in their second match.

LoneStar Armadillos vs. Werewolves

An important Dillo fact is that Werewolves are not not a natural enemy for them to be afraid of. And yet, they should be as the Werewolves won their last encounter in the SC playoffs of season 38. Rufio sees the Dillos get this one, I am siding with the Werewolves.

Peoples Republic of Yorkshire vs. Comeback Kids

And welcome to PRoY! How do we call you? Is Yorkies the correct term? Anyway, power to the people as you will need all the power you can get against the favorite AC team. The Kids wil probably do what they do best in regular season matches and just win this match without blinking.

Rome Centurions vs. Social Distance Runners

Did I write before that all roads lead to Rome? It might be the case in this matchup between two playoff contenders as my Runners have not won an opening match since returning to Elite in season 39. Many of my players have used the off season to party and they had lots of cash thanks to the salary increases they just negotiated. Add to this a new head coach who wil coach his first match ever and I have a bad feeling about this one. Centurions will triumph.

TigerCats vs. Lyon Eagles

If I was an eagle, I would stay as far away from TigerCats as I can. And now they got these beautiful beasts right in their nest. This might costs the French team some feathers and a loss.

Växjö Gladiators AFC vs. Valiant Pinoys

Kamusta to the Pinoys and välkommen tillbaka to the Gladiators. Ravencorp is a true SeaDevil manager. He will show as much on Saturday and probably storm to the first place in the division and eventually the conference.

Willemstad Bridges vs. BoneCrushers

If Bridges had bones, this would be a cruel first match for the reigning champion. I do believe they might get a bruise but never be crushed in their opening match.

And this is it. I am confident to have the right prediction for each match. Let season 41 begin !
