This is message on my draft board:
"Without taking playoffs into account, it seems you are drafting with picks: 4, 36 and 68" I therefore set up my first 4 draft orders. The results show that indeed I picked at the 4th spot. But to my horror I see this message: "Player Albert Jacobs drafted on pick #4 (dedicated pick) using your draftorder #15". That is surely impossible. Looking at the draft results I see that only my no 2 on the board was picked ahead of me (Fitzgerald). I had Vanagas at no 1 and he went with pick 8. I triple checked my board last night as I have made mistakes here in the past. And I've got evidence. I locked 5 players last night and the 5th player is still there, in locked position! @Pete, you probably cannot reverse the process or do anything about round 1 but can you please see what happened here and why so it can be prevented in the future. |

Interesting, I have also not picked top available player of my excel list.
I assumed a mistake, when transferring the draft order into the game. But perhaps a hint for Pete to further investigate your problem. |

did you dedicate any specific "round" order? I never have used this round order thing, also the guy who is still locked is also on Any Round. Also someone else reported an issue so I think sth happened with the whole draft for Dragons 2. I will wait patiently for Pete's reply. |

Did you see the confirmation for the orders being saved when you changed it? To me, it sounds like your changes were not stored. You can doublecheck by making a full reload of the draft page once you think you are done. Reasons for not properly saved orders are almost every time plugins in your browser, like Script Safe, Ghostery etc

I reloaded the page multiple times yesterday and I locked players in position. I've had similar issues in the past , also with the page not updating correctly and I can say with 100% certainty that the page was set correctly.
I know this for sure as I actually went up to my office in the attic at around 10.30pm last night to specifically double check the draft order after I had set it earlier that night. That is why I am so certain that my order was correct. Also, as mentioned I still have a locked player that was in a higher order than the player I picked. Finally Salt City Pirates also replied seeing a similar issue. This makes me to conclude that this is definitely not an user issue. EDIT: I also checked now on the Draft page (just to make extra sure) and the only security plug-in I use is Privacy Badger and AdBlock. Both are not reported to block anything. tbh, I have no idea. I doubt I even understood the full story. I was checking my draft, and it worked as expected, too. Please doublecheck your saved orders against the draftorder.

Actually I just opened my laptop and it was on the draft page from last night when I set the draft order. I then went upstairs later that night and checked the draft order on my work laptop.
So this is how the draft order was set and the 4th one WR Roganivich is still there in a locked position. Just to make sure you understand the story I made it into a list: 1. I have 4th pick in the first round of the draft in Dragons 2 2. I set draft order and locked the first 4 positions (as shown below) 3. I checked this morning and the message was: "Player Albert Jacobs drafted on pick #4 (dedicated pick) using your draftorder #15" 4. so to start with, this message is impossible to be true 5. as if I am picking as 4th team in the draft, how can I pick a player with my 15th draft order. 6. That would mean that my draft order 1-14 were already gone by the time it was my turn. 7. But only three teams pick before me, so this is already proof that something went wrong with the draft. 8. the screenshot below is how I set my draft order last night. you can also see it says Any Round so this is not the cause. 9. when I checked draft board this morning, draft order 4 was still there on my draft board as you can see from screenshot in post above But the main message is that it is impossible to get your 15th draft order when picking 4th in the draft. It just is mathematically not possible 
So I understand you can probably not reverse it, but can you try (checking logs or sth) to see what went wrong so it cannot happen for other players. Remember, Salt City Pirates think something similar happened to them as well. And finally Pete, you must know that saying 'it works for me' is the worst response IT Support can give

There is no logfile that could help me checking your draftsettings BEFORE the first round was executed. Such a draft consists af several thousands of transactions. If I was running such a comprehensive log option, the supporter account would have to cot 20 EUR per month. I have no idea how to solve this afterwards it happened.
Basically, to me it seems like there were locks in place, round based. The draft itself is very easy from a coding point of view. Check last years league table, generate the pickorder, go to team one, pick the top priority, go to second team, repeat until 96 player are spread across their new teams. |
