Are DT's considered to be rushing the QB on passing plays?

I have never found in my stats a sack made by a DT.
I presume they fight to open holes for LBs and SFs by the way. Other managers opinions are more than welcome. |

I thought DT don't rush the QB and that the fearsome trait is only useful for DE and blitzers. Can't tell you though where I read it or how I got to that opinion.

For whay I know DTs do not sack, but if they have fearsome trait the QB feels the pressure.
