First games played
Hornets vs Oilers was a tight game with both defenses shutting down drives before they could manage to score. The Hornets came out on top with a 17 - 10 win. MVP Paris Short QB -Hornets Hawks vs Leopards looked to cause an upset as the Hawks scored 14 points in the 3rd quarter, but a 4th quarter rally from the Leopards gave them the win with a 20 - 27 victory. MVP Ante Huber WR - Leopards Letaidans vs Aliens turned into a 2nd half disaster for the Aliens as they crumbled. The Letaidans scored 27 points after halftime as the Aliens looked out of ideas on how to stop them. MVP Dan Stipes LB - Letaidans Hummingbirds vs Knights was a runaway victory for the Hummingbirds as the ex elite Knights had no answer to the bombardment from the Hummingbirds. 41 - 20 was the final score. Took me to OT and lost to an interception close to your own end zone. It was a cruel hand played by the gods there. |

2nd Games
Hornets vs Hawks saw an epic battle as the Hawks gave the Hornets a real scare. The game was locked at 26-26 at full time and a mistake by the Hawks QB May to throw a bad pass which was picked off by the Hornets defense and lead to the winning TD for the Hornets MVP - Neville Quinlan RB - Hornets Oilers vs Leopards saw a 4th quarter collapse by the Leopards to hand the Oilers the win. They were winning 20-24 at the end of the 3rd quarter, but the Leopards took their foot off the gas and allowed the Oilers to score 14 points and cruise to a well deserved win. MVP - Sarawong Tomson LB - Leopards Letaidans vs Hummingbirds was closer than the experts predicted as the Letaidans had to work for their 26-17 win. A 3rd quarter display from the Letaidans gave them enough room to keep the Hummingbirds at bay for the 4th quarter. MVP - Dan Stipes LB - Letaidans Aliens vs Knights was a 22-31 win for the Knights as they hacked the Aliens back to outer space. 9-17 at halftime and the Knights took it easy as they matched the score of the Aliens. The game was a match of day on RZA TV. MVP - Steven Korbel QB - Knights 2 teams are eliminated = Aliens and Hawks 6 teams still in with a chance going into game 3........ |
