OL Humaid Sai Always interesting to see how others rate players. Based on his TW he will never be on my shortlist. Really? Maybe my scouts have over estimated him. I do not have access to the spreadsheet this time so the skills may be a bit different. |

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Tampa Bay Bandits have changed their name to the Pinellas Pikes! An unusual but yet interesting name. The Northern Pike is a long slender fish that is known as a relatively aggressive species, especially with regard to feeding. For example, cannibalism is common when food sources are scarce. This fish got its name from its resemblance to the pole type weapon used in European warfare from the Late Middle Ages to the early 18th century. The logo's use of the Pike fish and weapon makes for quit a unique combination. You can view the logo here PIKES LOGO. The team's excitement about this change is obvious, and they are certain that it will be received by their fanbase the same way! |

And the draft is coming... Best of luck to everyone, I've got a chance to get a good one this season. I played in Elite last season, so picking from the Elite draft board. Drafting 13th, I should make out better then I usually do... I've slotted 10 players for round 1, which is about the most I ever do. Funny though, there are usually several of my slotted players left after round 1 is complete. I see someone commented on how Team Work is accessed. My draft spread sheet awards bonus points to, TW, INT, & (Speed-except OL's). Then there's talent: originally I would award bonuses for higher talent, which would have me overlooking very good players with a 3 or 3.5 talent. This was a mistake on my part, level 3 & 3.5 players are very useful (get too many high level talent players, and watch you payroll explode! I do not concern myself with their age. |

The players you mentioned are among the better ones, I agree about that. (And yes, Ohm Engineer is the quirky name competition winner of this years' draft ) |

He is definitely a top 10 but I have not considered him that high. He is actually my 3rd DL option just after Vanich and Raji. Their traits, experience and main skills sum are more attractive to me. |

I got my no 1 pick which was based on need and not on getting the best player: OL Sawat Grägi
He is my backup OC rightaway. |
