Well for our pains we have a rematch (from the league 2 games ago) with the Bulls but this time it's at our house and we aim to win. We have paid our QB a bit more to stop him throwing the ball to the Bull defenders (they bribed him heavily last game). So we'll see where we go now.

Score = 10 - 38 Black Panthers (11-5) vs Bruisers (14-2) Spikey Cleats Battlefield has been a bogey stadium for the Black Panthers as they look to take out the Bruisers. It's an intimidating place to visit, with all the noise, smells and bullet holes along the main walls. The Bruisers are still shell shocked after losing to the Hornets and spoiling their perfect record. The Bruisers should win this. The Bruisers didn't just win, they gave the Black Panthers a mauling. Divisional Playoff games
Bulls (12-4) vs Aliens (14-2) The Bulls are rampant and will be looking the crush the Aliens at the Galifrey Stadium. They have beaten the Aliens 3 times in the league and so this should be number 4. The Aliens spent the bye week on a cattle mutilation seminar and so should have some ideas on beating the Bulls. I think the Bulls have the momentum here and should win. Bruisers (14-2) vs Oilers (15-1) The Bruisers have a much tougher opponent as they continue towards the promised land. They have lost the last 2 meetings with the Oilers and will need their A game to progress. The Oilers had a fantastic season as they beat some excellent teams with only the one slip against the Rotties. They look relaxed and focused at free practice for the press and fans. My feeling is the Oilers will win this, but a very close game. Marauders (13-3) vs Letaidans (15-1) The Marauders reward for beating the Hornets is a trip the Chase Center Superdome with the back drop of the snowbound alps. This will be a shock to their fans as they see a clean and well managed stadium. The Letaidans spent their free time picking eidelweiss and singing in the hills as they get ready for the Bruisers. A loss to the Oilers was the only blip to a near perfect season. I think this is a hill to far for the Marauders and the Letaidans will win this. Saints (11-5) vs Black Dragons (15-1) The ultimate underdog Saints now get to play in the Death Cave stadium, where the atmosphere will be dark, mean and hostile. They will need not only an A game, but B, C and D game to get a result. A dominant season by the Black Dragons with just the one loss to the Letaidans. They will need to make sure they don't take the Saints for granted or they could go the way of Smaug. I think the Black Dragons will win this easily. Conference Championship games :
Bulls (12-4) vs Black Dragons (15-1) This looks on paper as a win for the Black Dragons, as they have the players, coaches and that mean and nasty fan base. But the Bulls have won the last 2 encounters and don't underestimate a raging bull when it's backed into a corner. I think a win for the Black Dragons, but I got a slight tingle that the Bulls could cause an upset. Oilers (15-1) vs Letaidans (15-1) The Oilers won when they met in the league earlier in the season and should be favorites in this game. Letaidans have all the skills to get past the Oilers and make the final. So the question is will Canadian bacon overcome the Swiss chocolate ? I have no idea, so will flip a coin...........heads....... Letaidans to win. Good luck guys. |
