Seriously now: at the end of this season I intend to rethink the whole Power Ranking process. And I intend to do it with everyone's collaboration. But this imperfect Power Ranking (is there any that is not?) will continue until the end of the season. |

What I'm kinda getting at is Guardians made a large leap after a 98 point win over a bot and statistically in my mind he should be #5 or #6 at this time.
And Rio at #2. I dunno. I think he has only beat 2 teams with a winning record (granted he got the win vs #1) but still his schedule has been a walk in the park and not enough competition to establish top listing. Ergodicity may not be getting enough respect sitting there @ #6. Just sayin something seems a bit wanky.

Maybe figure out what weighting put your team last behind that BOT. Maybe thats where the answer is cuz quite honestly
your team is not WEAKER than that BOT |

I have been highlighting this since I was on top 10. Before beating the Pikes (quite a surprise!) I think I should be ranked as the "worst" 2-loss team. Or even having a 3-loss team better ranked than me. But now it sounds ok due to that win. Anyway my schedule will get some strength now after 2 games against the Rooks and 1 game against the Gardians. But here I must stress that their opp records are not much higher than mine as our division got an easy schedule this season. Time for an opp opp record feature on Power Rankings?  |

Power Ranking - Dragons 1 - Season 45 - Week 12 Headlines: - Changes in Top 3: The Pinella Pikes (#1) continue leading but Jackalopes (#2) and Ergocity (#3) return after being out last week. - Biggest raise: 3 positions for Ergocity (from #6 to #3) and Mülheim Steelers (from #14 to #11). - Biggest drop: 4 positions for Mülheim Seahawks (from #8 to #12). Hey you shouldn't be last behind that bot. You are obviously a stronger team. You lead it in every category except SoS/opp pwr rank and a couple minor rushing categories. Maybe the weighting of that is off. Last edited on 2021-12-02 17:24:08 by punch drunk |

Clearly this needs to be rethought. Maybe not taking into account for ranking bot teams and games against them? |
