It is more ignorance for not covering it as I wouldn't know for sure it is an upset. I still don't have a full handle on all the teams. I have been reviewing games if they were close and/or I already previewed them. Since you qon by 14 I didn't cover it. Sorry about that.

At the beginning of a Season its always hard to predict a Team or a Game. But this is the fun! To proof the prediction wrong if you are the predicted underdog or to confirm the high prediction for your Team

About Rio vs. Pikes: I was actually very lucky to keep the game close at the end. An important stat that most have missed about the game is that I have converted 3/3 4th downs. And all those conversions were on 4th and goal that resulted on a TD. If I have missed one of those or elected to kick a FG that big kick off return of the Pikes would not mean much.
About your previews: if you have time please keep with it. |

OK OK OK I picked a couple of games to look at...
Alert Polar Bears @ Rio Atoms This is a battle of 2 strong teams in D1 that are both coming off heartbreaking losses. Both teams had the opponent score in the final minutes of the game to clinch the win. These teams haven't played each other since the Supercup in Season 41 when Rio won 23-3, but that was a long time ago in this game. ***The following is based off what I saw in one game so.... Rio seems to be more balanced on offense with a 44/56 percent run to pass ratio. They also were able to average 4.8 per rush and 6.5 per pass attempt with zero turnovers. Polar Bears were 33/67 run to pass ratio while averaging 3 yards per rush and 8.7 yards per pass attempt with one interception. It is expected with more pass attempts there is more chance for an interception. On defense in the last game the Bears were able to hold their opponent to 2.7 yards per rush. Rio's opponent had more success running the ball. I do understand they are different opponents but I feel that since both opponents are high level teams the comparison is somewhat comparable. This game will probably come down to the Polar Bears run defense. Will it continue like the previous game or will Rio run all over them? If the Bears are able to contain the run then I like them to win it. Even if the Bears are down in the score they have shown the ability to pass efficiently. Of course turnovers could tilt it. Budapest Janitors @ Seahawks Except in one instance this rivalry has alternated wins. The victory pattern has been BJ, MS, BJ, MS, MS, MS, BJ, MS, BJ, MS. If the pattern continues you would think the Janitors clean this up. There is a significant rating difference between them favoring the Seahawks. Personally I'm rooting for Janitors since the Seahawks are in my division and well...they are the Seahawks and I'm a Niner fan lol. This is also a good opportunity to see how strong Budapest is coming off an upset win over the Moors. I'm sure the Janitors are hoping to run it, run it , run it.....and they just might! I would pick the Seahawks if I were betting money. I am curious how the replay of the D2 championship game will turn out with Turigtians taking on the D2 champ St. Pauli. I picked 2 games quickly next time I will have more. |

Gonna tell you a little "secret": the rating always reflects the last official game (non-friendly) you have played, with the roster that was active. That 70 avg is not really accurate, per say....

i was forced to play with my "normal" DC beacuse of the TC and morale problem at the beginning of the season. I think your last rating was higher then mine... I'm really looking forward to this game, even with the next game against Moors in my mind for preperation. Good luck to choadw |

Yes you are correct. It is really 76 not 70. Hey the pass defense is 80, nice! Anyways, I was hastily and kinda lazily not checking the last league game. I'll do better next time.

Trying a new playbook this game. My scrimmages have produced mixed results on it so I thought I'd try it against a live opponent. Why not considering I'm not playing to compete for the playoffs this season. Still trying to win but I'm realistic about it. lol
Just realized I didn't adjust defense at all. Sigh. Was busy this weekend and didn't look too much on here. Between watching my Niners take the Cowboys down and the wife and I remodeling a bathroom I was zonked. punch drunk wrote:

Hey as far as my game vs steelers I totally blew my defensive depth chart. I had peeps out of position and my starting bad ass corners didnt get the start. I still had it all locked in on my off season friendly rotation.
