I know there has to be a way to create a playbook that sets up long touchdown passes. I've seen managers who have to have done that to produce like they do. My team has been set up for long drives and controlling the ball. I'd like to incorporate opportunities for long touchdowns. Is anyone willing to give a tip of how to set that up? Thank you so much!

I believe there is NO WAY to create playbook for a long TD passes.
They just happen randomly.

Pass deep is a pass of 20+ yards, but it is not a 50+ yards pass.

So in my most recent game, its in the 2nd Quarter, my offense is on the field, and It's 4th and 1 from my opponents 44 yard line. Now I've checked this numerous times in my Playbook, and I'm supposed to be calling a Goalline pass in that exact situation, yet the game engine called a field goal attempt instead. Why is that? This has happened to me numerous times before too. Why have a playbook if the game engine is going to go off on its own like that?

Have you verified your playbook using the "check your playbook" function while putting in the exact situation?

Maybe it is something about distances? Example, a 44 yd field goal happens when you snap at the 27 yd line.

If you still believe this is an error of the engine, please provide some details via PM to me, and I will have a look at it. I need to know the game, quarter ind time when the situation happened, and the playbook that was used during simulation of that game.

I have a super dumb, eye roll inducing question. Sorry in advance:

When setting up formations, if I set a 3-4-4 for both pass and run, and I say expect the run and the other team throws, does it make a difference in the turnout at all? Same formation, only the expectation was off.

I am quite sure that there is no difference. This expectation is just to set an initial "priority" for which formation to choose and do not have any additional influence on the play.

Thanks. I figured, but asked anyway.

I have a question about formations, the correlation to the depth chart and substitutions:

I today had this "a ha"-effect that the order in which I position the players in the depth chart has a direct effect on the positions on the field for the starting 11 (yes, it took me this long ).

Now I'm unsure about the substitutions.

E. g. I have 6 wide receivers set on the depth chart, and if I'm starting with Shotgun 4 WR, they get lined up like this: 1st on DC -> WRL, 2nd on DC -> WRR, 3rd on DC -> WRL, 4th on DC -> WRR

First of all: Do the 3rd and the 4th get lined up inside or outside?

And now for the substitutions: If I'm playing Shotgun 2 WR (1st on DC -> WRL, 2nd on DC -> WRR), is the third WR then the first substitute for the left WR and the 4th is the first substitute for the right WR?

Did you check this in the Manual?
