Hawks managed to get two losses in last three games, allowing opponent to score 34 points in each of those losses. On Tuesday they will keep Chuuou below 34 (max 20) and they will win, Hawks by 17

Devon Warriors Serbia vs. The Blue and White Austria
Can the Austrian team get their first win? You probably don't know but there are at least 100.000 Serbian citizens living in Vienna, capital of Austria (out of 2 millions total inhabitants). Some says it goes all the way to 300.000. So it will be almost a home game for Warriors so my prediction goes to my countryman, Warriors by 10

I had Will Bridges on the ropes until a crazy comeback in the 4th quarter. My boys gave him a short field with a fumble which he converted into a TD, and then in the last minute of the game, inexplicably threw the ball, into an interception, giving him a last second field goal for the 1-pt win.
Went back and looked at the playbook, and sure enough I had a hole in the play-calling that allowed for the pass that should never have been.

Welcome back to the Elite rankings show! My apologies for the absence as I had unexpected house issues come up tripled with a work trip/convention and then a charity fun convention.

Congratulations to the Blue and White, Falcons, Marauders, Zombaes, Hololivers, Towncars, Mystics, Polar Bears, and Chosenones for getting your first Elite wins!

I think it's time for some questions! Will Chaser make it or will the AC champ continue the AC champ relegation curse? Who's the big surprise of the first half? Will the Bridges lose a game? Have the Towncars fixed their playbook? Who's going to win Admirals? Is this the season the Bobber's Elite streak ends?

Fire and Monarchs each have 18 wins, Claymore has 16.

1. (7-0) Willemstad Bridges (4)
Bridges coasting along in the regular season as usual even dropping a couple 50 burgers. They even have teams forfeiting wins in the final minute to save their undefeated season! They do play the Ducks in a couple weeks and that might decide whether they remain the first undefeated team since.... The Ducks.

2. (7-1) Space Kraken (6)
Another hot regular season start for the Squid will certainly end with another playoff goose egg. After Saturday's Malones grudge match featuring the #2 and #3 scoring offenses they only have 2 more teams with winning records.

3. (6-2) San Diego Blitz (2)
Blitz start the season 1-2 before reeling off 5 wins in a row. Including wins against the Malones, Letaidens, Ticats, and Chaser. Hopefully for the rest of us the Dumba/Blitz game to end the season means something this time!

4. (5-2) Cheese Modelones (3)
The nacho team gets a revenge shot at the Kraken Saturday to keep them from swimming too far ahead. It's been an easy schedule so far and will continue to be so until the last 4 games. This team won't lose more than 3 the rest of the season. If they do they might find themselves in D1.

5. (6-2) TigerCats (7)
Ticats are taking advantage of a down Chaser season to reclaim the Fire throne. The #4 scoring team has only lost to Galaxy teams on the road. No more of those on the schedule so they finish 14-2 right?

6. (5-2) The Alpin Ducks (5)
Rough start for the Ducks followed by a 5 game win streak that Kanar would label unimpressive. There's only a few teams with winning records before the Vaxjo rematch to end the season, I'd say the Ducks are pretty safe, unimpressive or not.

7. (5-2) Stone Mountain Hawks 2 (11)
A solid start to the second campaign as the Hawks lead Claymore. Their last 4 games is really the highlight f the season. They finish with Sydney, Wildcats, Ticats, Sydney.

8. (5-2) Letaidans (13)
Solid wins over the Kraken and Elephants have the Letaidens in the mix. Their final 4 games will decide their fate with a Kraken rematch and 2 vs the Malones.

9. (5-2) Dumbarajko Elephants (12)
Big game for Dumba Saturday as he draw the bad luck schedule vs the Ducks. Good news is he needs it more than Kanar does... which is also the bad news. The rest of the schedule isn't easy either with Blitz, Chaser, Malones, and Blitz left.

10. (5-3) Highland Wildcats (16)
Started out 4-0, then lost 3 in a row. To get back on a win streak they'll get a week off before Hololivers on Tuesday. Their important stretch comes in weeks 13-15 with Sydney, Ticats, and the Hawks.

11. (4-4) PR Chaser (1)
Chaser has already doubled his loss total from last season's campaign. Is this cause for concern? Each loss is to a team that was is expected to make the playoffs, the downside is Chaser isn't currently one of those teams. The real positive here is the second half schedule is significantly easier. They'll be just fine.

12. (4-3) AS Roma Wolves (9)
A 3-way tie atop Admirals means a tight race in back to back seasons. Wolves came out on top for their second consecutive title with a week 17 win. Creating that advantage continues Saturday as they play the upstart Chosenones for the first time ever.

13. (4-3) Växjö Vikings AFC (8)
Vaxjo looks like they are turning the season around after a couple surprising early losses. They'll need a lot more to go right if they want to defend their division title or win a WC spot from Monarchs or Galaxy. They could pull it off, they only have 2 teams with winning records on the schedule.

14. (4-3) Bobboy Magpies (19)
"Are they just here for the draft pick or are they planning on sticking around?" Looks like they at least plan on making it interesting. The Magpies lead Elite's tightest race for now but the schedule still has 5 teams with winning records.

15. (5-3) Maykop Dynamos (24)
This has got to be the surprise of the first half right? 5 first half wins when the last Elite season was 6 wins and 3 the attempt prior to that. The schedule has been soft and they still need to play Chaser twice... but if they win they could relegate the AC champ for the second consecutive season.

16. (4-4) Sydney Rising Stars (14)
A pair of surprising losses has Sydney looking up at 2 teams that they still play 3 times. Other than those 2 teams there's only 1 future opponent with a winning record.

17. (5-3) Pinellas Pikes (22)
Here's the surprise leader of the Dragons region, even after opening with a dud against the Bears. Beating the Bobbers Tuesday is important if they want to keep this lead and deal a big blow to the reigning Dragon king.

18. (4-3) ChosenOnes (30)
Maybe this is the first half surprise team? They certainly made the largest jump in the rankings. They beat the Heroes and Lakers and all of their losses are to top ranked teams. They'll probably get a few more sneaky wins if their QB's arm stays attached.

19. (3-4) Norfolk Heroes (15)
3 losses in a row has the Heroes already in must win mode as they face off against 2 playoff hopefuls in the Magpies and Sydney. Dropping to 3-6 would basically eliminate them already.

20. (3-4) Lincoln Towncars (27)
Or maybe this is the biggest surprise of the first half? One bad playbook line from being 4-4 with a win against the top AC team and a 21 year old QB. It won't happen this season, but the Towncars will be a force in the Fire seasons to come.

21. (2-5) Chelt Nam Bobbers (10)
"Time to start another streak." A losing streak is not what I was referring to. We've flirted with the Bobbers being relegated in the last few seasons, but this team needs to do better to avoid that reality. They still have 5 division games after winning their first and are only 1 game away from 2nd place, but they've already reached their loss total from last season.

22. (3-4) Long Term Capital Management(18)
The market is currently down huge this season, but Dissolve is trying to mitigate his losses. It's an amazing coincidence the Bulls and the Bears are on deck this week.

23. (2-5) Bracciano Lakers (17)
"The Magpies are certainly a big threat to them staying for a third season." Especially with a dreadful start to the season. It's basically the opposite of last season when the Lakers started on a tear. They need to turn things around starting Saturday if they hope to keep the Elite streak alive.

24. (3-4) Mystics (20)
"I don't really know what to make of this team." Still don't. Started with 2 solid wins then lost 4 of 5. This week is unlikely to help figure them out as they get the Bridges and Ducks.

25. (2-6) Zombaes (21)
This team is so incredibly bad in the second half it's amazing. They've been outscored in every game but 1 and didn't even score in the second half until the 3rd game. You can't win much when your offense is playing just 30 minutes.

26. (2-5) Alert Polar Bears (29)
They started out with a bang feasting on smoked Pike, and it's been all downhill from there. Losses by 4,7,10,10, and 11 show they are competing. Will they be able to start closing out those tight games before they run out of time?

27. (2-6) Devon Warriors (26)
Even with the roster additions it doesn't seem the Warriors are able to overcome the division rivals. They are only a couple games back, but with games against Ducks, Letaidens, Blitz, and Vaxjo it's hard to see this team with less than 10 losses.

28. (2-5) Chuuou Hololivers (28)
The defense has been bad in 3 games and pretty solid in 4, the offense has been pretty bad in 5 games and okay in 2. And one of those 2 was still a loss. Simply playing spoiler at this point. I think they'll get another surprise win on the season.

29. (1-6) Midnight Marauders (25)
Not ones to be dramatic. Outside of the first game, all Marauders games have been decided by at least 2 touchdowns. And this was the easy part of the schedule. 8 of the last 9 games are against teams with winning records. Ouch.

30. (1-6) Vienna Falcons (23)
"The main question here is: Does this team have enough juice?" It's just not happening. Too much for the Falcons to overcome. They had the Ducks on the ropes until the end so that should count as a sign of something going right.

31. (1-6) The Blue and White (31)
What a way to get your first Elite win. Scoring a TD with 12 seconds left to win by 1. What a relief to get that first one out of the way.

32. (0-7) Torino Cursed Black Bulls (32)
They haven't logged in for over a week, are losing players each update, and have terrible morale. Perfect recipe for the number one pick.

lost my starting QB for a couple games and got MOTY. not saying I necessarily would have won those games but would have had a better chance. my offense seems ok but I seem to have defensive issues. enjoying the commentary Rufio13!
