Further more, a lot of teams have gone bot, making divisions unequal. If you see at this point, in AC there are six-seven human controlled teams, while in NC is around 12. That means, that with no hub-bub, AC team is almost guaranteed play-off spot during the season. Which is, to be honest, not fair distribution.
Since, from time to time, teams and leagues are mashed up, solution could be providing the option to change division/conference, even league itself (from SD to Dragons, etc.) but that's different story. Anyway, after couple of years of hibernation, same things, I have to confirm it was same situation with market and with players, or even worse. Great players can be bought for couple of millions. That highly devalues someone's (most people) effort to train player properly, one of the things PJ mentioned and make people quit. Only difference is that I have some more money now, and can afford to buy any player I want. With all of that, couple of weeks ago, I decided to try to win one game, make myself in play-off . I won the crucial game, meaning that I could go now and buy some players. That's what PJ was reffering to, I bought almost whole roster in couple of days, but again in some kind of hurry.. So, I do have now good players, but also made some duplicates and somewhat overcrowded roster, there is now more players than I need, while at the same time I still need some players  Anyway, depending on match against Leeds, I'll see if I'll have some more players right now, or to leave it for next season. Expenses, you know.

Wow I didn't notice ... the situation is even worse ...
Still nothing to say about your tactics and your victory, just trying to understand the behavior of the engine ... So you bought 35 players since May 25 and they only played maximum six league / SC games before meeting my team, so your team chemistry was extremely low too ... I scouted two players immediately after the game, your QB (Team Chemistry 39%) and the RB, (car 46.4 pos 33.4 foo 14.6 vis 19.7 exp 3.5) who made 110 yds avg 8.5 and sixteen brocken tackles in thirteen rushes !!! against my defense (Team Chemistry 57%) I have only a word.... insane.... |

As I've said, unfortunately, it's not from couple of days ago, it's years like this. Nothing has (dramatically) changed, nor I have expected to be. There is small amount of managers, around 250 of them in the game, you can't expect normal market, to be honest. And still, there are managers willing to pay for promising youngsters. Selling physical players with high talent, in exchange for fully developed ones, for more-less similar money. Seems to me like a fair bargain... In case I'm buying, if you got my point. TL;DR : in my opinion, training is not profitable/affordable in any way, and that's the big issue. Yes, you can optimize players/salaries a bit, but that's not the point... It seems to me that it was interesting game agaonst Leeds, with, ofcourse, (roster) issues and (playbook) errors from my side. Still have to consolidate both things properly.

by the way, just to say I am still here and not stopping or something. Just work and life taking the upper hand.
If I can give one advice to anyone in trouble with money, get rid of all your older and expensive players and construct a team with low costs. After three seasons in the Elite playoffs I was basically bankrupt here. Now the back account looks really comfortable and I don't have to worry about a thing. I would love to have more time to prepare the matches that matter. Unfortunately there isn't. And I still hope for our region to fill up so we have no more bot games in the league  |

seeing a team winning the bowl in autopilot since about a month, against the best ever manager it says how few anybody can do against this hell of an engine...

To be fair, Leeds had about a 10% team rating advantage.

So I knew I needed decent random rolls to win this one and I knew I could not overcome losing the turnover battle, whcich I did lose |
