I know we all get bored of playing Bots but could there be a way for Bots to carry on playing their managers original Playbook to make them more competitive until season end where then they get flushed out

Sorry Jack, but for once I have to disagree with you. IF a Bot won a division I think it would be wonderful - a) it mirrors real life - if a coach/manager leaves the team doesn't forget everything they've done up until then and fall apart. b) if a Bot did win a division it would show the other teams that they need to improve - better that than they get promoted and then get killed 200-3 every game.
However, what BUUURNS is suggesting is not that radical (I would like to go further). He is just saying until the end of season. This seems more than reasonable. How many times have we seen a team beat 2 or 3 opponents at the start of the season, then go Bot and lose all their remaining games. This is totally unfair to the teams that played them before they went Bot. You say that many were against Bots being kept strong in the past. However, I suspect that was the managers who couldn't be bothered to build their own teams and I suspect they have now left us. I can't imagine any Elite managers and very few from Div 1 actually being scared of Bots. So I think it is time to keep Bots strong until the end of the season. jack6 wrote:

This is not a statement pro or con the discusses topic, but kind of a devils advocate type of post.
Imagine, I run several teams. And now I run those in the background, create skill monsters, buy them, whatever. My team will be kind of superior. And I s e l e c t a "goal season". I create my teams so they are true superior in that goal season. And I leave them alone so they become all bot 2 or weeks in the season. This way I could kill the whole competition. Turning bot teams into zombies asap is kind of a protection against those kind of tactis. At least this was what I had in mind when I thought about the near future of teams getting abandoned by their managers. |

Is it possible to limit players' skills of bot teams? Something similar to a "Power Mode" applying on them depending of the league level could help?
