Fwiw, my two least favorite things are MOTY and punting. I'd be happy if neither were allowed.

Good luck in the playoffs!
Wild Thangs went 8-8, which is my best showing in 5 seasons in Elite. We even had a chance to avoid relegation! Still learning how to improve my team, even though I joined RZA during season 3. Obviously I don't take the game too seriously. I will be back soon I hope. |

Hi Dumbarajko, You're in love ? I'm not. I've seen your posts, in the rookie forum or other forums and I do not like them at all because I find them not valuable. Also, I've read your recent posts about skills, primary skills and your players having most important (in your mind) skills at 40 or more and some at 50. I've picked some of your players of your first lost game in S48, only the 22 players listed on the Gamestats page (under team stats) and only those who are currently on transfer list. (Didn't want to waste more time with your lost games and didn't want to waste a penny scouting your players). Note : morale, TC and PC are in percentage, so a player with 50 STR is 100% STR, a player with 40 STR is 80% STR. Here are some of your players (your losers in your first lost game in league) : - OL 65.4% TW (100% STR) - OL 69.2% INT (100% STR) - TE 75.6% INT and 74.6% TW (100% SPE) - RB 77.4% INT and 51.4% TW (99.8% SPE) - DL 78.8% INT and 70.8% TW (100% STR) - DL 65.2% INT (100% STR) - LB 76.4% INT and 78% TW (100% SPE) - CB 71.6% TW (100% SPE) Player skills means skills in Offense and Defense and Sp.Teams. Which means all linemen with 50 str is not all and individual skills aren't the only thing. Your players and your coaches and your team and your play calling (game settings, play book) are handled by the RZA engine. That means you will never master anything on that part of the simulation. Yet, you may think you have it all "superb" (superb is your word) because your OL has 50 STR. Maybe, often but not always and, sometimes, luckily or not, far from expectations and disappointing. Got to agree with MOTY/relaxed, don't agree with it as an option and have never used either, just my opinion. I would add FG kicking or lack thereof to my least favourite things. |

I like to think of that as the origin story for his hatred of punting. He loved it so much then it spurned him on national television. lallen73 wrote:

Thematically, I also agree MOTY makes no sense. Why would teams be able to put forth more effort for a regular season game than a playoff game? Unless the teams can only afford 1 dose of PEDs per season and playoff testing is much more stringent. |

GLOBAL TV, not just puny national broadcast.
Yeah, punting doesn't even come to mind. I hit "p" on play type in the playbook just assuming it would be "pass" because punting shouldn't be an option. |

So, you do tend to forget the once in a lifetime good performance and focus more on the bad missed overtime kicks. Maybe it was the safety that started that nonsense. |
