Well, we lost against Cheese Malones, by 40 points. We did score 2 tds... so I am very happy, even if one of them was a gift from him, as he went for it in 4th and 1 in his own field. I am also happy with how our game went, we lost, and we lost well, but I was expecting much worse. As I mentioned in my first season, my intention is to have a team than can fight to get into the playoffs of this division regularly. So, quite happy with this season even if I'll have to change contract mode from newbie mode, which I have now, to the other more 'real' mode (can't recall the name). Best moment is 1st day of new season? |

Looks like we have three really good wild card games (don't see Heavy Drinkers getting challenged). I'll go out on a limb and pick all four visiting teams to win. Good luck to everyone!

It would have happened if it wasn't for the win of the Valkyries who are getting stronger and stronger. In the next round, anything but four home wins would be a surprise.

While I was pretty close in final outcomes, I was wildly off. ZHD struggled with the Rebels and KHT destroyed Mavericks.
Consequently, I don't view my match against the HighTowers as a sure thing at all. He beat PJ last season and his team rating is about 5% points better than mine. If my QB throws 3 INTs like he tends to do against good teams, I'll lose. |

While not a huge surprise that the four home teams won, I was shocked by the margin of the AC games. Valkyries are here and figure to be a challenger going forward. I think both away teams win promoting PJ and Buzi

I think random variance helped buoy me up quite considerably... my earlier game versus the Loonies went 7-41 and I think that's likely far more indicative of where my team is at currently. I'm still ~2ish seasons away from actually being competitive, I think (I'm still on a 790k player payroll).
