It's Championship Tuesday today, and we'll find out who'll be the two teams that switch places with the Bracciano Lakers and the Devon Dog Soldiers in the ELITE League.
AC Championship Game: London Silverbacks @ ChosenOnes The Silverbacks are in the Championship Game for the second time in a row. They won against Melittlemen in the Divisional Round by the skin of their teeth, surviving a furious onslaught with a well-timed fieldgoal in the fourth quarter. The next opponent is the #1 seed of the AC, the ChosenOnes, who were never really endangered to lose the game against the Grail Knights. We've already seen the match-up of this game this season, when the ChosenOnes went to the Silverbacks in Week 13 and won 38:28. Will the Silverbacks be able to win this one? Or will the ChosenOnes return to the ELITE after just one season with the Admirals? NC Championship Game: Green Mark Packers @ Amma's Angels Even closer than the Silverbacks' win over Melittlemen was the victory of the Green Mark Packers over vamosahi, where they won by one point. With just under 6 minutes to go, vamosahi was at the goalline of the Packers when the QB took the ball, tried to run it in, but fumbled and could not recover the ball. The Packers then took the ball 98 Yards down the field, needing a 3rd-Down-Conversion only once the entire drive and scoring a TD with only 36 seconds on the clock, not leaving vamosahi any time to answer. Now the Packers will take on Amma's Angels in the Championship Game, which will be a re-match of the S47-CG when the Angels were known as Ralph's Warriors. Back then the Packers won. Will they repeat? Or will the Angels return to the ELITE after 4 seasons of absence? Good luck to everyone*

It's the Bowl Game Tuesday, and we'll enjoy the treat of this great match-up:
ChosenOnes @ Amma's Angels These two teams meet for the second time this season. The first game, which took place in the second round of this season's Supercup Playoffs, was won by the ChosenOnes 35:24. While most teams bounced off the defense of the Angels, the offense of the ChosenOnes put up 481 Yards on them. The QB of the C1s had an awesome day with 5 TDs and 420 Passing Yards, PLUS rushing for another 25 Yards, while the defense put the opposing QB on the ground 6 times. With both teams going to the ELITE next season, the Angels will have at least two more opportunities to try and win against the ChosenOnes. But will they go there with an equal record from this season? Good luck to them both  |
