Hey guys, this is not a suggestion. I am just trying to understand why we are not allowed to play MOTY on playoffs (league or SC) even if we have not used on the regular season. There is any technical aspect that I am missing or it is just to be fair and let all teams play with their "normal strength"?

So the game should be fair with no benefits for either teams. |

MOTY is just a boost of skills, which simulates those Coaches speeches before game and during halftime. Cheers to Al Pacino.
I believe, players play boosted in PO games already, which is the reason I did not go for extra-extra-extra-boosts ... So the boost is kind of there, you cannot disable it. |

My players all take 'roids, so they're "boosted" every game. Fortunately Pete hasn't figured out a way to test for virtual PEDs yet.

I think early on you could MOTY in the playoffs, but it didn't work out very well. The underdog would MOTY against the favorite, win and then be depleted for the next game. A lot of time the best teams weren't in the Bowl game or winning the league.

I guess you confuse things with the time this was called AFSIM, aka the development phase of the game. We should not refer to the development stage, when we tried out different things. |

I understand your point of view. But in my mind it only makes sense if there is a real boost on players' skills during PO games in RZA (which I am not aware about).
One more thing I would like to add and that will probably make some people hate me : It is kind of strange that we can eventually play "match of the year" twice in the season. I think it would make more sense to have only one MOTY to spend on SC, league, CoC...

Okay, good point. With MOTY available on playoffs it would become just a matter of "who plays the MOTY at the right moment" instead of "who have the best team and tactics". Of course that we are assuming that playing MOTY at the highest level is a guaranteed win (which is not necessarily true).
