So far a strange season, but with not so many games so far in the books, the sortings and standings are a bit off, I think.
Let's have a look at the teams. AC AC East Toronto Thunder 5-0 Torchwood Aliens 4-1 Blue Devels 2-2 Spartans 1-4 Thunder did beat Aliens last gameday and got the division lead. Their rematch with the Aliens will likely determine the final standings. Aliens do have a slightly tougher schedule than Thunder, so it could be that even a win against Thunder won't be enough to win the division. Devels are likely to finish 3rd in the division, wether they will make the playoffs is open, depends likely on their games against Aliens and other stronger teams. Spartans are BOT and will eventually get a new team assigned, but will have no impact on the season. AC North Ruhrpott Miners 5-0 Kraichgau Buccaneers 2-3 Monterey Titans 1AFC 1-4 Minnesota Unicorns 1-4 A very open division regarding team strength, but also in terms of overall strength not in the top ranks. Miners are right now perfect and won the game against the Buccaneers, who do have already 3 losses. Since the schedules are quite similar, Miners are likely to win the division. It looks unlikely that Buccaneers will win 3 more games than the Miners, but there are still a lot of games, left. The Buccaneers had some tougher games so far, hence they lost some more games. Likely they will recover a lot in the next few games, but not enouh to win the division. Titans are a bit weaker, so likely no impact in the playoffs, as also for the Unicorns. AC South Braska Bangers 09 5-0 Burnaby Bruisers 3-1 Doves 2-3 Packers 0-5 Bangers are right now the top dog in the division, but only because of a weak schedule so far. They will get some tougher matchups in the future and I'm confident the record will adjust fast. Actually I think they will have a hard time to make the playoffs, compared to the other divisions and the Bruisers winning the division. Bruisers did lose against my team and since then won everything. They schedule is quite tough, but as strong team, I expect them to win most of them and win the division. Doves are quite weak as newer team and will have to impact on the playoffs. Packers are BOT and will eventually get a new team assigned, but no impact on the playoffs. AC West Black Dragons 5-0 Roll Badge 2.0 4-1 Dan1983m 2-2 Orono Ancient Snappers 0-4 Dragons are together with the Bruisers the top teams of the conference and right now it looks like they will play only the Bruisers as meaningful game and maybe, maybe, that will determine the #1 spot, but likely Dragons will get it anyway, thanks to the other games. Badge might have a say inside the division, but have a slighlty tougher schedule. I expect them to become a playoff team, but not to win the division. Dan1983m is for me still an enigma, but fine, the managers can manage his team as he likes. I think they will have no impact on the playoffs. Snappers have a quite tough schedule, I expect them to overcome Dan1983m, if they progress further. Still, no impact on the playoffs. My guess on the playoff standings in the AC is: Black Dragons Burnaby Bruisers Toronto Thunder Ruhrpott Miners Roll Badge 2.0 Torchwood Aliens NC NC East Hemet Hooligans 4-1 Southern Meerkats 3-1 Egger Traktoren 2-3 Harms Heros 1-4 The Hooligangs lost their game against the now BOT Traktoren, not sure what to make out of that. They should be able to win the division, if the team stays focused. Their match against the Meerkats will likely determine the division title. The Meerkats have lost the 1st game against the Hooligans, but the rematch will come. Both teams do have a quite weak schedule, so likely they will make the playoffs, both. The Traktoren and the Heros are both BOTs and will not play any role on the playoffs, even if they get a new manager assigned. NC North birney's weekenders 4-1 Baltimore Blue Crabs 4-1 Tennessee 0-4 Medvedi 0-5 A quite weak division, with only 2 teams competing. The weekenders do have right now the edge over the Crabs, likely will also win the rematch. Thanks to that and a slightly weaker schedule than the Crabs, the division is likely theirs to lose. The Crabs do play several stronger teams and will likely finish 2nd inside the division, not sure on the playoffs. Tennessee are BOT and will have no impact on the playoffs. Medvedi is right now a weak team, but will likely jumü Tennessee at some point, but will have no impact in the playoffs. NC South Leverkusen Leopards 5-0 Paxtang Black Panthers 4-1 Trnava Saints 2-2 Poruba Titans 0-5 My team, the Leopards, are primed to win the division with the Panthers in reload/rebuild mode. Chances are high to finish unbeaten. The Panthers do face a few tough cookies, but not that many, so likely the will finish inside the top teams for the playoffs. Saints do face several tougher teams and will likely miss the playoffs. Titans are a brand new team, which will have no impact on the playoff race. NC West Fighting Frankonian 2-3 Osler Rotties 2-3 KAFakofers 1-3 Poznan Knights 0-5 Another weaker division, which will likely only send a single team to the playoffs. Frankonian do look to have a weaker schedule than the Rotties, so I think they will win the division. Rotties do right now look like something is going wrong, their results were devasting lately. If the rebound they might finish 2nd in the division, but likely no playoffs. KAFakofers can jump them, if the win the crucial games, but I also doubt here playoff chances. And the Knights did announce their rebuilding intention after several seasons of just sliding through, but so far no actions on the rosters. No impact on the playoffs. My guess on the playoff standings in the NC is: Leverkusen Leopards Hemet Hooligans birney's weekenders Fighting Frankonian Southern Meerkats Paxtang Black Panthers We will have to see, what has to be adjusted after a few games. |

I apologise to everyone in Monarchs for a longer than I had expected period of no impact. We've got 4 players older than 24. It takes time to develop a player. I've been trying to keep track of the experience progress of my players. So far very few of them have 4 stars. Until that improves, I've decided it makes more sense to optimise their training (at the cost of PC). I jut think it's better to really have a chance to win something in a few seasons, than to give it all already, but in a few seasons still not have a chance to win anything more than a game once in a while against teams from the middle of the pack. |

I don't know why I'm even bothering to watch a game against a bot, it's just a matter of how many points I get, as they aren't scoring once.

And there goes my starting QB... 3 INTs places him now 3rd on the depth chart...
Most frustrating as I used credits to roll his name

I did scout all 4 QBs of yours.
That 3 INT QB has the lowest skill values, so don't expect him to be a killer. If he was the starter, he plays against the best of the others, regardless how good the team is. The other do than play against a bit more fatigue opponents. Sometimes it's a mess. My team did lose a Supercup game it shouldn't have lost, also with several turnovers it shouldm't have made. It's a game with random calculations and sometimes you get a bad hand. |
