NEW CAREER MILESTONE REACHED After intercepting the Champ Chompers in a SuperCup game, LB Chad Thurman has now reached 70 career INT (for any game except friendlies) He has played 4 seasons with the Mystics, but only had 1 INT compared to when he went to the Silvers/Silver Foxes in S58 with 69 INT. Rumour has it Chad Thurman fancies a few seasons in sunny Sheffield before he retires... |

Bought from Devons Warriors way back in Season 52 by a team then on the rise Milton endured as financial ruin almost ended the franchise. He retired aged 31, far too early, after delivering a career best season. Overall Milton played in 402 matches, delivering 149 sacks, 22 forced fumbles, a franchise record of 168 Interceptions, and 78 Defensive Touchdowns. Here's to a long happy retirement Milton

mystics kept young Chad Thurman secret from the football world as long as they could.
when he became too powerful to contain, mystics put him on the market...this was a risk management decision, as mystics were afraid he might injure his own teammates in practice. He has brutally slayed opposing offences ever since ![]() |

He might retire after S63 if we don't give him an option not to, his contract expires after S63..so..he still will be in Minnesota
Idk though, we will see bc he hasn't said if he wants to retire...yet.. Last edited on 2025-10-09 22:21:07 by 0verpowerd |

One of the benefits for us in this fine league is the pleasure to play so many teams that we have not, or maybe seldom, met. The next 3 games are of that quality, and we very much look forward to meet some well known teams: There’s the Manta Rays, whom we last met in the Supercup of S58. Then there's the dERBENT CONVICTS, and we never even played a regular game against them in any league or Supercup.
But first it’s the Minnesota Silver Foxes coming up tomorrow, visiting HAMMER SPORTS PARK in our return home. We’ve met them once in the Supercup, back in S60 when they still were the Minnesota Silvers. We won that game, but we’re 2 seasons removed from that and know how much good can come in this time span. So we’re cautious. But confident that they won’t get away with a W tomorrow
Good luck to everyone on Saturday ![]() |

SEA DEVILS MATCH OF THE WEEK
In this great league, it's always easy to find a great SDMOTW. However, I can't offer you the Hamsters or Rays every week. A little variety is good for all of us. So, we're now turning our attention to a pairing that no one from us had on their bingo card: Beavers @ RAPTORS There are basically two possible scenarios for today. possibility one: In the untouched forests of Patagonia, a group of Belgian beavers landed in search of a new home. They had heard about the lush forests and clear rivers and wanted to settle there. However, they had not reckoned with the dangers that lurked in this unknown land. As soon as they had explored their new home, they were attacked by a horde of hungry raptors. The beavers, who were used to peaceful life in their Belgian ponds, were not prepared for such an attack. They fought bravely, but the raptors were numerous and dangerous. The battle was long and bloody. The beavers lost many of their companions, but they did not give up. They fought with all their might until the raptors were finally repelled. The surviving beavers were exhausted, but they had won. They had found a new home and were ready to defend it. possibility two: The container ship "Castoridae" had been on a long journey. The merchants from Antwerp on board were searching for a harbor to unload their cargo and take on new goods. However, the coast of Patagonia was rough and inhospitable, and they had difficulty finding a suitable harbor. After days of searching, they finally discovered a small bay that seemed protected and safe. The merchants were relieved and dropped anchor. But as they retired for the night, they were surprised by the natives. The Patagonians, who lived in this land, were not pleased about the arrival of the strangers. The merchants, who were exhausted from the long journey, could not defend themselves against the attackers. They fought bravely, but they were outnumbered. The Patagonians took the cargo and left the merchants empty-handed. The "Castoridae" lay damaged in the bay, a sign of the merchants' defeat. They had lost their cargo and had to embark on the long journey back to Antwerp. |

On paper, the Raptors have this one in the bag. However the Beavers have been overperforming compared to what their Overall would suggest. It's going to be a good game and one that I will be watching closely as I still have to play the Raptors once and the Beavers twice.
That being said, I still think the Raptors have this one |
