Even though league-wise the Silver Foxes are 3-5...
8-1 supercup-wise isn't bad at all. 
Hoping this carries on to the Supercup playoffs because this has been a really good Supercup season! |

8 games done, 8 games to go.
The HAMBURG SEA LIONS had their usual losses in the first half of the season, but only coming up short against the MOTYvated Packers and the tough Manta Rays. Now we’re 6–2. The second half of the season will bring all three home-games against NC North competition and tough opponents like the Social Distance Runners (whom we never beat), the Constanta Sailors (who beat us last season) and Sheffield Wednesday (who have a playoff loss to revenge against us). So it’ll be interesting. We start the journey today with a visit at the Baltimore Blue Crabs. I hope we’re ready for those evil staring, soul ripping little beasts. SEA DEVILS MATCH OF THE WEEK
A great game day with many exciting and crucial games is upon us. It's best summed up by one central question: Will the Runners make the playoffs? I always write Tuesdays on Sunday mornings with a coffee in hand. I hope someone has already covered today's most important games. Luckily, the SDMOTW writer's handbook tells me which game to choose right on page 1. I only have an old edition. In it, the two teams are still called Vancouver and Traders. I should get a more up-to-date handbook. The move to Michipicoten hasn't hurt the Corsairs. They've defeated both large and small teams. However, they lost their only heavyweight fight against the Bruisers. Their record stands at 7-1. All 143 residents of Michipicoten can be proud of their team. I'd like to say the same about the 4,286 inhabitants of Gaylord. Unfortunately, that's not the case. Euphoria looks different. No one there is living the S64 Elite League dream right now. For Zaleaping, this is their fifth heavyweight fight in a row. They lost the first three, but their success against Bergen has put them back on the upswing. The SDMOTW is just the SDMOTW, but today I recommend the match ticker. Even if you've never followed it live before, it's worth it today. Plenty of divisional clashes are waiting for us! After giving the Social Distance Runners 5 picks and 10 sacks for 82 yards last time we played our cunning plan for this week was to try a running playbook. Big mistake. Well played SDR.
