We all know without statistics this sport wouldn't half as interesting...this is why we turn season 6 into the "Add more statistics to the game" season...
We have seen a lot of suggestions about it, so I ask you all to post useful addons for statistics here again. Please follow some rules: 1.) Just one statistic value per post, including a short description. 2.) No reference to other threads, posts, external webpages...describe it using your own words, or forget about it 3.) No discussion. If you need to argue, open another thread in discussions pls... I will delete/edit all posts not following those easy rules. Edit1: Of course every user is allowed to make as many posts as he like, just follow the rules above Edit2: No matter if we are talking about team-stats or player-stats...both are welcome Last edited on 2012-10-27 17:01:36 by pete |

Pass Deflections
This in my opinion is a must have in any Football game, Pass Deflections (PD) are a very important stat to analyse the entire defense, because all of the players on the defense can indeed deflect passes, albeit some more than others. PS: Since you only want one suggestion per post, can a single user make several posts in a row? Pete says: Yes, of course. This limit was made not to lose control of the whole thing. QB Tagets:
Count 1 for target (WR or TE), if the QB s e l e c t one receiver, regardless if the receiver catch the ball or not. |

Targeted/Receptions Allowed
Another great statistic information to have on the ability of our DB's and LB's. Having the amount of times a player is targeted with a pass and the amount of times he allows the completion. This in my opinion would be very valuable to implement. |

Drops:

A good measure on the success of our pass rushing players is the number of times a QB had to make a hurried throw because of preassure. |

Drops
Think that Drops could be added to the box score, under the Catching category to all receivers. This will naturaly help to evaluate the ability of the receiving group to catch the ball. Done Last edited on 2012-11-29 20:12:24 by pete |
