I will pay if I need the talent, but it is a case by case situation for me. I have paid the ransom before, but I have let guys walk too. Cash is king in my book and you never know when you will need a lot of it!
My advice to anyone that asks, and no one ever does, save your money when you don't think you will be competitive and spend it when you think you have a shot at deep playoff runs. |
