That raises a general question. I do not believe the time plays consume in RZA are totally wrong, when it is about NOT playing special teams. Agreed? If so, the weak for abetter timing would target the punt. For Kickoff and field goal I believe the timeing is quite OK.

I haven't looked closely enough at it or thought there was an issue though to analyze it other than failed 4th downs. On kickoff the clock doesn't start until the catch is made. Fgs are usually 4-5 second plays.

As long as the failed 4th down time run off has been fixed I have no issues.

I just think it is funny. I don't believe it is anything to waste time messing with. We don't really manage the clock anyway, so as many times as it works against me, it will work for me.

For the record, we also have the cleanest football players ever in the history of football. I have yet to see a guy even jump offsides! There are plenty of things that I find amusing, but this simulation is the most fun I have had playing a game in a very long time. Don't sweat this Pete. It's just for laughs.

Dont think there should be put too much effort in the time consumed during a punt. Imo, just, if it is an easy fix.

If you put in effort for time management than imo it should be end of half / end of game logic.

I could think automatic timeouts in certain situations:

i.E.
- if you are losing and you are on defense, use your timeouts in the final 3 minutes
- if you are an offense and losing hurry up earlier than now (i.e. final 3 minutes or depending on the score
- if you are loosing by a FG and on offense, save the final timeout for the final 15 seconds

target should be imo, that with the current gameplanning options you can make sure that the coach can make the right decisions.

i.e. currently with the game tied you can get unlucky because time between plays could be 32 or 33 seconds, so if you are unlucky, your order of a FG in the final 30 seconds will not be used
