We play 4 rounds of 16 teams cups, one after the other.
We start cup A, with a signing deadline. If the cup was oversigned, we roll the dice. We play the cup, winner and runner-up join the round of the "glorious 32 teams". We start cup B, with a signing deadline. Until this deadline expires, we accept only particpants that have not played cup A. If there are not enough managers at the deadline who signed the cup, cup A managers could apply - except the finalists. We run cup B, winner and runner-up join the "glorious 32". We start cup C, as we did with cup B. A and B participants have to wait until the deadline expires, no finalists. Same procedure with cup D, A-B-C participants wait again for the deadline to expire. This way, we collect 8 teams for our "Glorious 32". The other 24 teams are elected by their rank in the "combined cups table". We create a big table of the "non KO rounds" of cups A-D. The best 24 teams except the teams already been chosen for the "glorious 32" join this exquisit group. So yes, it counts to get to the final of each cup, or to win and score high in the group phase. Even teams not eligible for the KO rounds of cups A-D could be part of the "Glorious 32". Tiebreakers for these 24 managers are Pct, PDR, PFR, TDD, TDF, Yoda's diceroll Possible bot teams are eliminated from the table. We play the grand final cup, and the runner-up receives a 3 months supporter, while the winner receives the shiny hardware trophy, as usual. And yes, we expect the winner to do the photo thing of his/her home village ... As before, if a manager has too few Credits, we provide those Credits out of the RZA pocket, for up to 1 manager per cup. Last edited on 2024-02-26 21:48:36 by pete |
