The Weasel Traders had just celebrated a win in the last friendly of season 59. Dragon is slayed Season 60 approached. and I missed everything since that point. Anyway, I'm back, and good, and tired of forced camping. Let's go Season 60! |

Former Weasel Trader QB Sione "Sunny D" Dau was involved in an altercation today with security personnel at La Casa Grande. Weasel Trader Head of Security Dewey Friskem: " Mr Dau was scheduled to meet with the public relations department today to coordinate having his name added to the Ring of Honor during next Saturdays game against the Minnesota Silvers. As you all know, the Ring of Honor ceremony is a customary first step to Hall of Fame induction 1 year after a players retirement. Upon approaching Security, Mr. Dau was informed that he would not be able to enter the building due to his inappropriate clothing. No, it was not the Namath-like full length fur coat that he wore. Rather it was the North Sea Jarls emblazoned hat, shirt, pants, shoes, belt and we presume undergarments that Mr. Dau choose to wear. Unfortunately for all involved, Mr. Dau escalated the situation quickly by refusing to comply with the suggestion to change into Weasel Trader gear from the fanshop. Mr. Dau became belligerent and demanded to speak with "Any idiot in the front office". Having been made aware of the situation by this time, I spoke with a member of the Management team personally. It was clear after the call that Mr. Dau would not be entering the building now or anytime in the future for that matter. Mr. Dau has been placed on the "Weasel non Grata" list and that the Ring of Honor ceremony has been cancelled. When informed of these actions, Mr. Dau let loose a long, profanity laced tirade. To summarize the outburst, Mr. Dau informed us that he would retire as a Jarl and join their HOF." |

"I am glad you mentioned this as it doesn't come up very often around the league. They say Karma is a bitch. I really hope Coaches Karma becomes a thing. We spend a lot of training on keeping our Chakras clear, our Karma good and our vibe mellow. It's obvious on the game film that the Silvers pay no attention to any of this." |

"I'm only ever going to talk about this right here and right now. Sunny D, (pause)....He sold us out. Threw last years playoff game all because he was in debt to some bad dudes. We told the guys on the long flight to Vietnam. Pandemonium. Guys crying, yelling, some wanting to fight anybody. It was chaos. You have to understand that he was a great Weasel and Sea Devil until this, the ultimate betrayal. Guys were destroyed. But a theme emerged early on with the team. All focus was going to be on avenging last seasons playoff loss to Wednesday. Wednesday is a great team but we were not losing this one." Reporter: "Can you clarify reports of an incident on the tarmac in Hanoi? "Clearly we had not brought along enough grief counselors. The team decided as a group voted to stay on the plane rather than board the busses to the Hilton. We spent the night on the plane, working through our anger, grief and confusion. We sleptwalked through the friendly as expected." |
