An unexpected win for Leadhills over the River Rats who held a 6-3 lead in head to head matches

Unfortunately for the Rats, their safeties took the day off, and their kicker didn’t have a great game, either. Congrats to the Wonderers. A cracking 20-6 win last Saturday for Wolves against divisional rivals Deimon Devil Bats. Defences were on top, with Wolves restricting the Devil Bats to two FGs and 0-13 on 3rd down.
Both teams should make the playoffs, but it will be interesting to see who ends up top of NC North. |

Wolves came unstuck this week, losing 13-26 to the rapidly improving Rangers. Missing two FGs didn't help, nor did giving up an interception return TD. Many congratulations to Rangers!
In the other match between two established teams, Rockford River Rats had an excellent 65-7 win over Scarges Catalans. |

In yesterday's games, Free Agent Mascots edged out Leadhills Wonderers 30-28 in a clash of two of the top teams in the AC. A very tight match, with the Mascots making the winning TD with just over a minute left on the clock. Both teams surely heading for the playoffs.
Exiles beat Redskinz 51-0, but the Skinz are going through a rebuilding phase. They have a very small roster and had a large number of players leaving at the end of last season (out of contract). |
