Hmm...ok well..
On one hand the Berlin Raccoons can be matched up against, as we have gotten to go up against the Girona Dragons 1714 in a Supercup matchup and won by 1 point, on the other hand they are an elite team...so...I'm just gonna hope and see what happens. ![]() |

Warriors have looked strong so far in the first quarter despite being 3-0 down to a early Silverbacks field goal. - Manta Rays @ Corsairs looks set to be a shootout and the 1st quarter shows that prediction to be spot on. Its currently 14-7 to the Corsairs - St Pauli and The Krakow Conquerors have a humdinger of a 1st half with 4 Touchdowns equally shared - is 14-14 - Wrexham Exiles have the easiest day of all and lead 35-0 against the BOT Sailors |

WILDCARD WEEKEND
Our reporters are ready to bring you LIVE updates from all our games : Down to Chad Thurman who is reporting at Silverbacks, Chad hows it going down there? Unbelievable scenes around the ground — I don’t believe what I’m seeing here! Quarter 2 has absolutely gone off. The Warriors, bang bang, two quick touchdowns, and they’ve suddenly shot out to a 14–3 lead. The Silverbacks say not so fast. They start on their own 20, they drive the length of the field — and I can confirm, it’s a touchdown! A 6-yard pass to Sleiman, and just like that they’re right back in it. Absolute chaos out here, and this game is far from done! Silverbacks 10-14 Warriors We now head over to Stabler somewhere in the far reaches of Canada, Stabler, can you hear us? I can hear you, just about — and I’ll tell you what, it’s absolutely freezing up here, but the action is red hot! You join us right on the back of another Corsairs touchdown, Shapiro steps up and adds the extra point, no problem at all. And right now, the Rays just can’t live with them. The Manta Rays have been on fire all season, everyone knows that, but at the moment the Corsairs are running riot. The scoreboard tells the story:Manta Rays 10, Corsairs 28 — and unless something changes quickly, this one’s threatening to get away from them. We do head… somewhere — Krakow? Bergen? No one’s entirely sure — but wherever this stadium is, the St Pauli Elite dream is hanging in the balance. You join me at the worst possible moment for St Pauli, because Krakow have just hit the front. A 17-yard touchdown pass swings the momentum their way and suddenly the Conquerors are in charge. The question now is a big one: can St Pauli find a response? Time starting to become a factor as we look at the scoreboard — Packers 20, Conquerors 24. Plenty of tension around the ground here. Any Signs of a Manta Ray comeback Stabler Into Q3, the Manta Rays are trying to build something. 7:11 on the clock, first and ten on the Corsairs’ 47. Cary takes the snap, looks inner right, targets Roman McHugh — the ball’s in the air, it’s tipped, and this time it’s picked off by the Manta Rays on the Corsairs’ 36. That’s Sotirios Roda stepping in from middle linebacker, reading it perfectly and coming away with the interception. Exactly what the Rays needed — a sudden turnover, short field, and a real chance to shift momentum. If there’s a comeback brewing, that’s how it starts. News coming in of a WARRIORS touchdown in London... Chad? Yes, The Warriors are running away with it, and they have just forced a 3 and out after that TD. Unless something changes drastically, The Warriors will head to the next round Warriors 24-10 Silverbacks A TOUCHDOWN in Michipicoten - Whats happening Stabler? The Aussies are rallying, theyve turned an interception into a Touchdown, but its still a 2 score game as we head into the 4th... its still that Canadians Teams game to lose... Rays 20-28 Corsairs We head back to Canada... Stabler whats happened now? Disaster for Corsairs as their drive stalls, they look for The Chip Shot field goal and Shapiro, usually so reliable has missed from 22 yards. The ground is silent as Manta Rays take over from the 20. Still 28-20 We head to Krakow - its tight is it not?? Interception from Tandberg on the opposition 38 sends St Pauli straight back down the field, but they cant convert for 7, settling for 3. The tension around the ground is palpable, its a 1 point game. Pauli 26-27Krakow It looked all over in both Canadian games but the comebacks could be on. Manta Rays have brought it to within a 5 point game to make Corsairs fans twitchy and The Silverbacks have reduced it to a 1 score game against The Warriors... stay tuned as the Wildcard Weekend concludes Last edited on 2026-02-10 16:54:51 by butchpt6 |

Welcome back to Sea Devils Sports Centre as we head in to the final few minutes... Stabler news from Michipicoten...
" Yes, The tension has lifted and The Corsair fans are in full celebration mode now as they end a long, time consuming drive with a 1 yard Touchdown run for Lino Hoffman. Game over surely for The Rays who need 2 TDs in just 4 minutes..." Rays 23-35 Corsairs The Silverbacks add 3 to close the gap to 4 on Devons Warriors, whilst in Krakow nerves are a jangling, as Robertson kicks a 48 yard field goal to lead 30-26 with 3mins to go HUGE CONTROVERSY AT KRAKOW - Have The Packers won it. With 17 seconds on the clock and 23 yards from goal Schuster finds Meyer with a 23 Yard pass, but as the game ends Krakow are highlighted as the winners... Mass hysteria on the field, coaches are on the field and noone knows who has won. The crowd is silent... waiting for confirmation.... We head to our reporter in Krakow Sorry... yes... A slight computer glitch here but the clock has been reset and it is HEARTBREAK for Krakow as St Pauli score the LAST SECOND touchdown. There was confusion for a while. The air has been sucked out of The stadium, the fans believed, we believed, but Schuster forced the long completion in there to Meyer to end this one. St Pauli have kept the dream alive... St Pauli 33-30 Krakow Conquerors Within all that confusion we can confirm that The Corsairs have dumped out Manta Rays. Many people will have had The Rays as favorites in this one but they had no answer to the air attack from Brucehum. Final Score Rays 26-35 Corsairs Devons Warriors had 161 yards on the ground to grind out a fantastic win in the Silverbacks back yard. The 2.28 Q4 Field goal from Silverbacks was highly questionable, and they werent able to get the ball back with such little time left. Final Score : Warriors 27 - 23 Silverbacks Last edited on 2026-02-10 17:12:53 by butchpt6 |

WELCOME TO DIVISIONAL WEEKEND
As discussed before, Sea Devil Football has developed a clear structural split. There are the yo-yo teams — those who bounce between Elite and SD — and then there are the consistent playoff contenders who knock on the door every season but can’t quite reach the final dance. Could the structure change as the competitiveness increases. Which teams might jump a tier? The Expanding Competitive Tier The middle class is growing stronger and deeper every year. We’re seeing genuine upward pressure from: The Manta Rays Black Knights Yorkshire Sea-Owls Krakow Conquerors The Terrifying Hamsters Seattle Sea Reapers Northern Storm Derbent Convicts Minnesota Minotaurs Minnesota Silver Foxes And soon to join that conversation: Baltimore Blue Crabs Rome Torresina Cincinnati Bungals This group isn’t just competitive — it’s disruptive. These teams are good enough to shake brackets, ruin seedings, and force the established order to defend its territory. It hasnt really happened yet, but you look at some of the teams in this group and understand that disruption is coming (hopefully). The Perennial Playoff Wall Then we have the established postseason regulars — proud organisations with deep histories and strong foundations, but often one step short of the breakthrough. Gaylord Zeapling (not as recently dominant, but historically significant) Michipicoten Corsairs St Pauli Packers London Silverbacks Wrexham Exiles Hamburg Sealions Konjarnik High Towers Ghost of Bautzen (last season’s appearance noted) Devon Warriors Many have come close. Few have finished the job. A couple of former Elite sides from other groups may show themselves as dominant sides very soon (Im looking at you Hamburg) and could tip the scales further towards the dominant elite — only time will tell. The Dominant Core At the top sits the power structure. KMN Mandolorians dropped to a 75% rating this season, yet still extended an astonishing 17-season Elite run. Even in a “down” year, they endure and still have a chance of making The Elite Bowl. Around them, the modern heavyweights: The Mystics - Who have an incredible SD D1 Record. Constanta Ravens - Most likely to establish themselves as the team to challenge KMN at this point Glasgow Tigers - Most feel sea sick from so much up and down motion Social Distance Runners - As above Year after year, one — often two — ascend to Elite, while two rotate back down. The cycle continues. The Premier League Effect Sea Devil Football has started to resemble the Premier League model: a dominant core, with a rotating cast chasing them and occasionally sneaking into the spotlight. The “Big Six” still hold the power. But is the gap is narrowing? The competitive tier is deeper than it has ever been. The playoff wall is restless. The dominant core looks slightly more vulnerable. Could this finally be the year the structure cracks? Let’s look at the numbers. |

DIVISIONAL WEEKEND PREVIEW
Devons Warriors @ Konjarnik High Towers Serbian fans are in for a treat — and a relatively short trip for this Divisional Playoff weekend. Expect the streets to empty at 4pm as all eyes turn to this heavyweight clash. Historically, Devon Warriors own the matchup, leading 25–8 all-time and winning seven of the last ten. But history doesn’t step onto the field. Nor does the previous Divisional Playoff Meeting between these two sides, a Devon win in a 30–27 thriller. What is more likely an indicator of how this game will playout are the two recent blowouts — 51–17 and 40–17 in Seasons 61 and 62 — when Konjarnik High Towers overwhelmed the Warriors with pure offensive firepower. Devon answered in Season 63. After recent struggles by their standards, they went 12–4, crushed the Hamster-shaped narrative that this was the year the Terrifying Hamsters would finally pass them, and finished five games clear. Then came a gritty 27–23 playoff win over London Silverbacks to book this showdown. But the High Towers have been relentless. AC’s No.1 seed. 769 points scored. A +542 point differential. Only Glasgow Tigers and Social Distance Runners posted similar dominance. Top-10 offense. Top-10 defense. No weaknesses. Devon are better than in recent seasons. Konjarnik look complete. Prediction: Warriors 17 – 35 High Towers Last edited on 2026-02-14 13:32:23 by butchpt6 |

DIVISIONAL WEEKEND PREVIEW
Michipicoten Corsairs @ Hamburg Sealions I’m not sure what’s tougher in this matchup — spelling Michipicoten and having to flick between screens to ensure ive got it right, or being constantly shouted at by the Hamburg Sealions in full CAPS. (Only Derbent Convicts test the patience more.) This is your SDSC Sea Devil Game of the Week. It’s a clash of styles. Power and control versus tempo and air superiority. And let’s be honest — plenty of neutrals have a soft spot for the Corsairs and would love to see them move one step closer to the promised land. On paper, Hamburg look stronger. They dethroned Sea Devil royalty St Pauli Packers in the NC North and they haven’t lost at home in nearly two seasons. The crowd will be loud for this one, feral even. Those Canadians will need to silence them early. As the did to They Rays... Bruce’s Canadian Air Assault is coming in hot. Surprisingly ranked just 7th in pass offense during the regular season, the Corsairs flipped the switch on Wildcard Weekend, torching The Manta Rays for 491 passing yards using an innovative dual-QB system. Some have pointed out that yes, the Rays had the league’s 30th-ranked pass defense. Hamburgs is ranked 31st... Are the stars aligning? If the Corsairs find rhythm early, this becomes uncomfortable very quickly for the Sealions. But undefeated-at-home teams don’t fold easily. Can Michipicoten silence Hamburg? Prediction: Michipicoten Corsairs 24–28 Hamburg Sealions Last edited on 2026-02-14 13:52:32 by butchpt6 |

DIVISIONAL WEEKEND PREVIEW
St Pauli Packers @ Social Distance Runners An all-German affair means minimal travel — but maximum intensity. While the RZA air miles stay low, Germany is buzzing, with Canadian fans flooding Hamburg also - This Divisional Round runs straight through Germany History is brutally clear. St Pauli Packers are 0–7 all-time against Social Distance Runners, including a 42–23 home defeat earlier this season. The numbers point one way. The matchup trends point one way. But playoff experience matters — and few do post season like St Pauli. They haven’t missed the playoffs since Season 56. They boast the league’s highest wage bill at £11 million and a roster packed with proven talent. The pieces are there. The question: what does hmpf22 dial up to finally crack the Runners code? For Social Distance, Buziano’s return season has been a statement. NC South champions. Two wins over closest rivals The Manta Rays. A 28th divisional title — tying Leeds Celtics for the most in league history But they aren’t invincible. Derbent Convicts stunned them 26–6 in Week 1. Hamburg Sealions exposed cracks later in the season in a 36–24 win. It could come down to the Runners’ 3rd-ranked rushing attack versus St Pauli’s 2nd-ranked run defense. Something has to give. The Packers’ balanced top-10 offense suggests this won’t be one-sided. Expect tension. Expect physicality. Expect it tight late. Prediction: St Pauli Packers 21–24 Social Distance Runners |
