Over 52% now. We've reached the profit point.
Bad management at this time for no one else to contribute. |

Those who put up the 50 million will get back their 50 million plus 7,375,000 worst in the game but a profit still the same.
Those who didn't put any money in, plan for next year, do not put funds in now, or you will loose money, cut your expenses and plan to put it in next year Or do the league a favor and let your team go to bot. We need active managers who want to maximize their potentials, which means you must do everything you can to maximize your profits so that you will have the funds to support superior teams and allow others in this league the same opportunities. We have to face managers of other leagues who benefit year after year of having an extra 10 to 20 million dollars a year do to managers caring about their league. No excuses next year, start planning now, or just go bot. Last edited on 2019-12-18 18:11:59 by wttlt |

FIRST AND WITH EVERY POST, IT IS TO LATE TO PUT ANY FUNDS IN THE MEDIA CENTER THIS YEAR, YOU WILL LOOSE MONEY IF YOU DO, WHICH WILL HURT OUR LEAGUE, SO DO NOT PUT ANYTHING IN UNTILL NEXT YEAR. ALL DISCUSIONS ARE AIMED AT NEXT YEAR.
Its called tough love. I want to face real members and don't really want anyone to leave. But, it would be better if they did so that new managers, who want to participate can join, after all that is how every manager got here, unless you are from season 1. Non payers hurt us, and the entire league. We need to get them to participate, and I am open to suggestions. Maybe. Refuse to bid on any of their players. Refuse to respond to any of their postings Ignore any of their emails. It would be a lot of work to have to check on who put in or not. But yes, there needs to be some sort of retribution taken. As they picked our pockets, granted they picked their own pockets as well, but in this case we need to hold them accountable for the losses they caused us. In elite we hit 90% and will get a return of over 74 million Imagine what you could do with an extra 24 million verse the 7 you are getting. That is what the non paying members just cost all the supporting team. Should we be POed, yes and yes at everyone who didn't put their funds in, or what they had, I can understand being short, but those who refused to participate at all, they really have no excuse, and if no recourse is taken, next year we will be here again with 60% participation verse 75% or better. We must hit 75% as a minimum. So yes, tough love works. Be active and support this league, or kindly leave it. I guess that sounds better than saying go bot, so we will ask them to kindly leave, by requesting a league transfer, let them become another leagues headache. Politely.
Once we hit 50% it's profitable. Those who did not contribute and could've afforded it threw profit away. That's bad management.. Last edited on 2019-12-19 06:26:58 by punch drunk |

People are irked not because this is stated (albeit multiple times, unnecessarily), but how it's stated by one person who thinks he's speaking from some kind of high ground (which he isn't). He inherited a winning record, lucked into a promotion and got paid in by default and now is preaching like he knows it all and imagining random consequences against people who think different. My only problem, at this point, is that I cannot mute a specific person on the forums, just the complete sub-section. |

no one should be pressured into contributing or victimised because they cant afford it.we all know the profit to be made so they are missing out and its our own greed thats causing this unrest.
choad has managed his team very well for a good few seasons now and if he chooses not to contribute i wish him luck doing it his way. good luck for season everyone |

Every one has some funds and everyone should plan ahead to have the 50 million.
It is shameful that this league has the lowest support year after year, and that needs to change. I am open to suggestions. How ever the only way that I know of to get it to change is to get those who are not contributing to agree to next year. Sorry, facts are facts. Everyone is an asset to the game, as we enjoy playing against live opponents. How ever this league would be better off if they went bot, as they would be 100% funded and next year replaced by another manager who could contribute. We need to improve to at least 75%, so that we can compete with members of other leagues on an even playing field. Those who contributed, should not be mad at me for pointing out the obvious, that is probably long over due in needing to be said. Those who didn't contribute, you cost yourself and the entire league. That is just an obvious fact. Last edited on 2019-12-20 12:02:14 by wttlt |
