That didn't go as planned! Oh well, can't say I didn't see that coming after seeing how well their team has performed against other top competition this season.

Even tougher loss for the Runners as they performed so well in their game only to lose it by throwing a pick in scoring range late in the 4th quarter.

This looked like such a sure win. But somehow, the adversary stayed in the game. A clear 4th quarter loss. What a stupid Interception at the end. But even before my tam needed to seal the win and could not.

For a long time I had thought that it was my defense that was winning the matches for me. Today, despite two interceptions, the defense did not exist. Very sad.

Congratulations for the Gladiators and Fappers. And Go Marsz !

Wow, you picked him apart Marsz... literally. Just about every successful drive the Sharks had ended in some kind of dramatic turnover. Nice going!

Last 16 place distribution:

Elite League 8
Sea Devils 3
Galaxy 2
Admirals 1
Claymore 1
Dragons 1

with Elite League members in their native leagues:
Sea Devils 5
Galaxy 4
Admirals 3
Thunder 2
Claymore 1
Dragons 1

Congratulations for all Sea Devils. Shocked to see Runners eliminated, Gladiators and Fappers had at least strong opponents, while Monologues were among easiest at this point. Of course hardly expected Vipers to give Spartans a fight. Michigan State Spartans are propably strongest contenders to win a conference and challenge Free Agent Mascots.

Tonights game was like our battles against JonnyP and Buffalo in the past. My team was mix of Celtics and Cardinals, opponents were my team from the past. Always struggling to finish a drive.
Great moment after so frustrating season. I hope to get some beatable opponent in the next round, while a result may be crucial for conference final preparation.

I'm still hurt after previous meeting, hardly see my team winning, only team rating gives me some hope...
Good luck for next match

Ugh, internet was down all morning so I didn't get a chance to set my defensive playbook. Here's to hoping the one that gave up 502 yds to the Spartans is good enough to make it through today. Good luck Venice Panthers! At this point it seems everything is already going your way but we will have to see what happens on the field.

And then there were 4...

Great job to all that advanced. I'm sure Marsz was sweating during our match, but in the end, his team triumphed. Well played Marsz . I look forward to having a rematch in the future.

On another note, it seems that the rankings are right again so far.

Yes, your ratings came through.

Gladiators, how close was that ! The luck I was missing in the supercup came back in the match against you. This time your drive ended with the clock.

Ricky, best of luck to you Tuesday. You are the favourite by an inch or so. I hope for a great match.

Winchester and Marsz : I would not know who to pick from you guys. Have a great match and congrats to going this far.

Altogether we have two very worthy conference finals of the supposed best four teams of our league.

Great game Buziano! Tough to see such a outstanding season come to an end like that but unfortunately, it had to happen to one of us. Your red zone D really kept you in the match for most of the game while your offense was struggling. I honestly thought i wasn't going to get a single touchdown after the field goals kept piling up.

Then there was that crazy 4th Quarter between Naprzód Marsz! and Winchester Lions. What a way to end a game! Two int, a long TD pass, a punt return for TD, and a failed last minute drive to try and send it to OT. Congratulations to the Lions for pulling a win out of that mess and qualifying for the Elite League! Also, best of luck in the bowl game. May it be just as eventful and suspenseful as your last game (maybe without the 7 turnovers though).

For once I had the stronger start but somehow I did not get far. The missed 4th down was the beginning of all misery to come. After, your team was dominating. My offense did not happen any more. And my defense was not strong enough. In the end you won by a huge margin and rightly so. Congratulations Ricky.

Now I will watch the other match. Congrats Lions ! Marsz, see you back next season. Maybe then one of us will make it to the finals.
