You are probably absolutely right about everything and you also offered me your database. I only kept an eye on the active teams.
I would also be happy if the decision-making process in the future takes place with the greatest possible participation. So I already have three nominees for season 55. |

my suggestion:
HOF-ers + Elite members + SD1 Bowl participants list 3 nominee candidates each. top 5 candidates become the nominees. everyone in SD votes on the nominees. top dog gets in... I think this is similar to Kanar's original format |

it doesn't need to be that complicated. Within a handful of seasons, exactly the teams that everyone wants to be inducted in these few seasons will be inducted. It's all about the order now and not about unworthiness. Three teams have already been nominated for next season. No one was nominated for this season. This is still so manageable that no committee has to make a pre-selection.
