there are kind of common rules, and hard rules. player in the 60s an70s are usually OL, and not allowed to receice forward passes...

11-20:QB's, WR's?
21-30:K P G KR?
31-40:RB?
41-50:RB?
51-60:SF FS?
61-70: OL'S
71-80:LB?
81-90:WR's, TE?
91-99: DL?


would this be some what right?

80-89 WR/TE
90+DL
40-59 LB, FB
20-39 DB
All others are more or less mixed,

I did a little research and herers wat I got



1 - 19: Quarterbacks, punters and kickers
20 - 49: Running backs and defensive backs
50 - 59: Centers (or 60-79 if this range is taken)
60 - 79: Defensive linemen and offensive linemen
80 - 89: Receivers and tight ends (or 40-49 if this range is taken)
90 - 99: Defensive Linemen and Linebackers

Here's the numbers Uniform numbers, different rules for college though so feel free to make your own rules up

You will find WR taking 10-19 normally if the 80's are taken.

And LB will be in 50's normally although 90's are acceptable especially since DC's saw LT and realised a LB can spend his life rushing the passer. I seem to recall all lineman can wear 50's now as well.




LB have only been allowed to wear 40's since 2015, which changed because they were running out of numbers. Brian Bosworth tried to change this when he was drafted. He should have focused on trying to stop Bo Jackson.
